According to Colombian tax laws, foreign visitors and Colombian citizens residing abroad are exempt from the 19% VAT upon receiving entry stamp to Colombia which confirms your stay in the country for up to ninety (90) calendar days and has the PT stamp or the current temporary visa type "V". This exemption applies for accommodations only, does not include other services and the invoice is generated in the name of the passport and reservation holder.
The permit must be presented upon arrival where the original passport must be provided and a copy of the data sheet and the stamp sheet will be taken. Guests are reminded to request a stamp from immigration upon arrival even if they enter through biometrics.
Airport transfer service is available upon request.
For reservations of three or more rooms, additional policies and charges will apply.
To ensure the safety and quality of the experience for all guests, visitors must register during the check-in process.
If the visitors are not present during check-in, their personal information must be provided for pre-registration. Failure to register this information on time will result in a nonrefundable charge.
In compliance with Colombian Law 2068 of 2020, visitors may only register with official identification: ID card for Colombian nationals and passport for foreign visitors. Each visitor must sign the hotel registration form. It is important to inform the reception when a visitor leaves the hotel; otherwise, the charge for their stay will be applied for the remaining nights, and refunds will not be processed.
Additional unregistered guests will incur an additional charge of USD 99. This value must be paid before accessing the room and is charged per person, per day.
Guests must present a valid ID and credit card upon check-in.
If a credit card is not available, a cash deposit of USD 300 per night or USD 100 will be required.
Cash deposits will be returned upon check-out.
Please note that extra beds, sofa beds, and cribs are available upon request and subject to availability.In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The restaurant for dinner was set up beautifully, and the waiters were attentive the fish very tasty. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
There was nothing
We had a very good stay at Dann Carlton Medellín. The hotel has a classic and slightly elegant feel, and it is clear that it is a well-established hotel with good service and everything running smoothly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we felt well taken care of from the beginning.
A special mention should go to Santiago, one of the bellboys, who made a particularly good impression on us. He was kind, attentive and very helpful, and small things like that really do make a difference during a hotel stay.
The location worked really well for us. It was easy to get around, and the area felt calm and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, which was especially nice for us as a family, as it gave us a good base to return to after long days exploring the city.
The breakfast was good with a nice selection, and the hotel facilities made the stay even more enjoyable. It is not a brand-new or ultra-modern hotel, and in a few places you can tell that it has been around for some years. But that did not change the overall impression, which was very positive.
All in all, a very good hotel in Medellín that we would happily recommend. Not perfect, but definitely above average, and a place where we felt safe and comfortable.

Nice hotel with really comfortable and huge rooms. Well cleaned. The hotel is located in the best zone in the city so you can do plenty of the things walking.
The breakfast could be better just like the unity in Baranquilla.

The breakfast was amazing! Lots of great options and was very easy. The staff was very helpful even though I did not speak Spanish. I also loved how attentive they were.
I did not like the fact they did not have wash cloths for your face and that in order for you to have any power in your room, you had to have your card in the key holder which was a little odd.
