I book a king size room but ended up with a double bed the first night the second night I was able to get a king size room. Which was great.

Pros:

I paid for the hotel in advance through Booking.com.
When I checked in, the hotel staff told me they needed my credit card for a $50 security deposit.

Later, I checked my bank statement and found that they charged me the full room amount again plus $60, which they said was for security.

On top of that, Booking.com had already charged me.

I am confused about these charges and did not receive a clear explanation. This experience was disappointing and stressful, and I hope the hotel improves transparency about deposits and charges.
