This hotel was the perfect location and the view from our hotel room was amazing!

The location was absolutely perfect! It was walking distance to so many of Chicago’s best restaurants, the Chicago River Walk, river taxi and tour sites. We selected the hotel room with a view and it did not disappoint!The view from our hotel window was amazing and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

From a total disaster at another hotel to the best stay ever! L7 saved our vacation.
Pros:

Honestly, after a nightmare experience at a nearby Hyatt, my family and I had to scramble at the last minute to find a place to stay. We ended up at the Lotte L7, and it turned out to be the absolute best decision. They completely saved our trip!

First off, the location is amazing. We were within walking distance of pretty much everything. It’s right across the street from the waterfront/lake, and the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour picks up right across the street too, which was so convenient for getting around.

The front desk staff was a breath of fresh air when we walked in stressed out. They were so responsive, polite, and very clear about what rooms were available and when we could get in. We ended up booking the King Suite with a Lake View, and the room was just phenomenal. The views were incredible—there’s this great window bench where you can sit and just look out at the water. Housekeeping was totally spot on, and the room was spotless. Plus, they have an air purifier and a water purifier right in the room, which was such a great, thoughtful touch for a family.

To be fair, there were a few minor hiccups. The elevators were super slow, the room phone didn't work, and our shower faucet was faulty when we checked in. But honestly, the staff had the faucet fixed by day three, and the comfort and quality of the suite more than made up for those little things.

What really blew us away, though, was the service on our last day. We had a super early flight home and our Lyft was arriving at 5:00 AM. The front desk staff actually noticed that our driver had been parked and sleeping outside the hotel for three hours. They went completely above and beyond by alerting us and letting us know to double-check the driver's reviews just to be safe. I absolutely loved that they were looking out for our safety like that at 5 in the morning.

We would 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely stay in the lake view suite again next time we’re in Chicago!

Great location! A little bit overpriced!
Pros:

The perfect location! Also I have to say that the property is very clean (both the lobby and the rooms, they clean the room every day!)

Cons:

The woman who checked us in at the reception wasn't very friendly. She didn't tell us what the hotel had to offer. For example, they provide complimentary coffee every day from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and we only found out about it by chance.

In addition, the hotel was a bit overpriced

Etwas laut, aber eventuell lässt sich das in Chicago auch nicht vermeiden.
Die Türen zum Badezimmer sind - seltsam. Ein bisschen wie bei einem alten Saloon aus den Westernfilmen. Aber funktional in Ordnung.

Floored by the quality of this new (to me) hotel brand.
Pros:

Fresh, beautiful interior with great attention to details. Our river view king suite was spectacular! The window seats are terrific. Bathroom well-appointed. Room purifier, yoga mat, decor are all great additions.

L’emplacement ! Les services : fontaines à eau dans le lobby et machine à café gratuite dans la journée, la gentillesse du personnel, la déco des chambres. Super!

Cons:

Deux ascenseurs….dont 1 systématiquement en panne. Le petit déjeuner « inclus » sur booking. En réalité : un crédit de 25$chambre pour aller au restaurant coréen mitoyen. Le menu minimum est à 24$. Pas de breakfast sucré. Bref, pas glop les 25$ par chambre quand on est 4 avec des enfants (la nourriture salée-épicée de bon matin, moyen). Impression de m’être faite arnaquer quand même. Nous avons été prendre nos petits déjeuner chez Stan’s donuts. Si j’avais su j’aurais pris la resa sans petit dej.

Excellent hotel, clean and stuff is very frindly.
Near to the River Side.
Comfortable beds and there is everything you can need for any length of the stay.
Window view was just more than expected.
Definitely one of the best choices in Chicago
