Pros:

Close to everything. Christmas lights and celebrations in full swing so lots of activities. Good window insulation. Would have been a really nice place except …… !!

Surrounded by construction. 8.00AM to 4.00PM. R I G H T next door. Overlooks the pool area so grinding & cutting noises plus workmen - not a pleasant experience. Not busy at all - I guess due to the renovations - so smorgasbord breakfast not happening. Small adequate breakfast provided.

Hotel Monterrey in Cartagena exceeded every expectation we had. Our room came with a stunning, panoramic view from the balcony. truly one of the highlights of our stay. Waking up to the sweeping sights of Cartagena felt like a dream. The service was exceptional from beginning to end. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. The overall experience was smooth, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming. The location is unbeatable. Sitting just outside the walled city, it’s only a short and easy walk to all the charm, history, and energy of Cartagena’s most iconic area. Considering the prime location and the quality of the experience, the value for the price is outstanding.

L'emplacement est très central ce qui est parfait. Le charme de l'hôtel. La piscine bien utile avec cette chaleur et car nous étions presque seuls.

A melhor localização de Cartagena: exatamente em frente a Torre do Relógio, porém fora da cidade Amurallada. O acesso é mais fácil, menos barulho e tem uma vista incrível. O quarto é espaçoso, cama e o chuveiro são bons. O café da manhã é excelente, tanto pela localização no jardim que é lindo, quanto pelo serviço excelente, comida variada e saborosa. O café da manhã vem em etapas e você escolhe como preferir. Foi o melhor café preto que tomamos em toda a viagem. Além disso, o hotel tem um terraço com a vista incrível. A equipe é muito atenciosa e profissional. Amamos a experiência!
