During our four-day stay, our room was not serviced a single time. I called the front desk after the first day to request housekeeping and was told they were short-staffed and that someone would get to our room. I completely understood the staffing issue, but no one ever came.
The following day, I called again and received another apology. The front desk associate kindly brought us additional towels and garbage bags so I could empty our trash myself, but once again, housekeeping never serviced our room for the remainder of our stay.
Another disappointment was the lobby coffee. On two of the mornings, it was either cold or completely unavailable. When I asked the front desk associate if fresh coffee would be coming out, she seemed visibly irritated by my question, even though there were no other guests waiting at the desk. She did eventually bring out fresh coffee, but the interaction made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her.
We also tried breakfast on our first morning, and unfortunately, that experience was equally disappointing. We sat at the bar for approximately 10 minutes before the server acknowledged us. When she finally came over, she informed us that they stopped taking orders 30 minutes before closing. However, we had arrived approximately 40–45 minutes before closing, and nowhere was this policy posted on the menu or displayed with signage. She ultimately took our order, but it felt as though she was doing us a favor.
The food itself was very poor. The bacon was undercooked, we ordered pork sausage but were served smoked sausage instead, the French toast was not good, and the pancakes looked as though they had been cooked on an unclean grill. I even took a photo because they didn’t resemble pancakes at all. My children wouldn’t eat their breakfast.
Overall, this was not the level of service or quality I have come to expect from Hilton properties. I understand that staffing challenges happen, but the lack of housekeeping for our entire stay, the inconsistent lobby amenities, the poor customer service, and the disappointing dining experience made this a very frustrating visit. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future guests have a much better experience.
Fire alarm at 10pm and 2am
The location was good with easy access to everything we were doing that weekend
We didn’t get any sleep it sounded like people were stomping around and kicking walls all night long until 2:30 in the morning a loud boom happens and their fire alarm starts going off and everyone has to evacuate (again). On our way out there was water leaking from the ceiling so likely a pipe burst or something. Firefighters got there took about an hour and around 4:30 I finally was able to sleep. My girlfriend didn’t sleep at all at the hotel. Management wasn’t even there the next day to talk to people after a bad night for the hotel because it was a Sunday. I would never stay here again
location- clean-comfortable
It was nice and clean
The face that someone walked into my room while we were naked
This HGI is in need of an update. The rooms are dark and dingy, the beds have a hole in the center from usage, the cabinets are all nicked, the doors have patch marks and holes and the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade. I am a Hilton Honors member and I stay in a lot of HGIs now that most Hampton Inns are horrible. This is the worst HGI I have stayed in, ever! I do not recommend staying in the Dublin HGI. It’s bad, very bad.
We didn't get breakfast with our room. Our beds were comfortable and the room was clean . We were very pleased that they got us into our room earlier so we could get ready for a graduation. The staff was very pleasant and helpful we did need glasses for beverages
We were bothered five times with someone who kept trying to open our door. We called down and someone said they would come up and look around. Never heard back . It was after 1:30am when they finally stopped. They didn't have cameras in the hallway which makes us very uncomfortable being two women travelling alone . Our room was up on 4th floor in a corner where it would be easy for someone to be aggressive . I didn't get to much sleep and thought we would be in a restful place .
Room was clean and a good size
Parking fee and disorganized breakfast setup and an ice cold indoor pool
Location was great
Very dirty and old.. staff wasn’t friendly. Outdated and didn’t even put soap in the bathroom
The staff was friendly
We had someone break into our hotel room while we were at dinner. I had to change rooms and asked the hotel for a refund but they were unable to meet the request because I used booking.com they said. I did not feel safe staying at this hotel even tho they switched us rooms. The person literally broke the door lock to get into our room.
I stay at a lot of Hilton Gardens, but this stay was different The on site restaurant was closed "until further notice," all the ice machines on all the floors were out of service (but you could ask the front desk for ice), self-service laundry was also out of service, and the Business Center no longer exists, even though signage points to it.
The room, however was clean and the staff was super helpful. They got me ice, gave me restaurant recommendations, and even did some file printing for me (traveling on business).
What gives, management? Why no ice on any floor, restaurant, laundry and business center?
I liked that there is a beverage station in the lobby. Room was clean. Staff was polite.
Breakfast not included. The "hot water" at the beverage station was lukewarm. Not good for making tea or cocoa.
The location was close to where I needed to be for work
There were dark hairs on my bed and pillowcases that were not mine and were there when I arrived. There was a used hair tie on the floor by the bed upon arrival. It didn’t look like it had been cleaned. The front desk staff was short and rude. I paid extra specifically for a king bed/room and was told there were no kings left when I checked in. The breakfast was okay, but not worth the additional cost. No water fountains worked, so I couldn’t even fill up a water bottle. Overall, very disappointed!!
