The Marine is a luxury experience. Wonderfully situated on the Hermanus cliff with views across the bay, easy access to the town, or stroll the cliff path. Heated swimming pool if you want to laze by the pool, breakfast was generous and high quality.
The Marine Hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff were attentive polite and without exception every single member of the team you came across said good day and always with a smile. The property is exceptionally well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect right by the water and many restaurants and shops just a short walk away.

The place itself is wondeful, best walk by the seaside possible, but the hotel isnt’t worth the price. The restaurant was fine.
The view is one of the best I’ve ever seen, but the best room has a small window and another one - in the bathroom.
Total messup with transfer and we were not the only guests questioning why the transfer we actually didn’t confirm was included in the bill.
It was finally settled, but we had not the best impression.
The checkin experience wasn’t also the best: we arrived a bit earlier and went for a walk, telling at reception that we would be waiting for a call when the room was ready. We didn’t get it at all.

The breakfast each morning offered lots of healthy choices. Unfortunately evening menu limited and felt uninspiring. We love fish but considered it over cooked so didn’t order it again.
