Castle Bamboo Waikīkī Hotel

Staff was super slow even though it wasn’t busy at all…. No nearby parking I had to walk 10 mins everyday for parking … hotel looks outdated. Don’t get the balcony by the street. Super loud in the mornings. Cockroaches everywhere inside my room

There was a snafu about the booking dates. We had booked it in 2024 for 2025, however, the hotel booked us for 2024 and marked us as a no-show. I called hotels.com where we booked, and they straightened everything out for us. We were allowed to put our luggage in a safe room to be picked up before our flight, which we really appreciated. But the staff could be a little bit more friendly when hotel guest were entering and leaving the hotel.

The room had really good facilities and was everything i needed. I could cook, make decent coffee and there was decent wifi, tv and laundry facilities available if required. For the price paid this was a really good stay.

Great and spacious room.

The property was was very clean. The service was top notch. The gentleman at the front desk I believe his name was Mike when we first got there was very nice. Lovely was also very kind. She went out of her way one night to bring my wife and I some extra towels. Thank you so much Lovely for showing us that we were important. Godbless you all.

It was great. Everthing was good. Loved it.

Property looks very pretty but room was dirty.
Waited over two hours to get my room that needed to be clean, when we get the room there were roaches.
Front desk was rude and kept telling me misinformation

Perfect place to enjoy Hawaii. Walking distance to everything! The bar in the evening was wonderful and the staff was friendly and enjoyable!

The location was great for walking to the beach, international marketplace, and beach walk. Many eateries nearby.

The pool was great in its set up

You get what you pay for and that is true here. The hotel matches the price. Decent/good. It's in a good location and there is a Tiki Bar on site for a convenient cocktail. My biggest issue is the curtains are in shades of sunset. Which means any light outside is MAGNIFIED into the room. Darker curtains would be better, even if they can't provide blackout curtains.

Average motel, great central place to stay, we had one room which was ok and our friends had another room which was well below average, fingers crossed what room you get.

We stay here whenever we visit our daughter who is a student at UH, great location in waikiki

The room I stayed in was pretty nice. It lacks the polish of other hotels near the beach, but it was still very enjoyable. The main thing to pay attention to is that they lack adequate parking. Make sure you reserve parking WELL in advance.

unfortunately we felt we didn’t get what we had expected from the listing. the kitchenette was so small, the bed uncomfortable, the pillows were rocks and the balcony was as sad as the room. for $2000 i wish we’d just spent a little more and gone for something better.
i will say Cecelia at the front desk was amazing though!

Absolutely great place in the heart of Waikik maybe a little bit dated but I really couldn't have asked for anything more from this placei very friendly staff the restaurant and bar area are a separate business from the hotel and they don't open until 5:00 p.m. but couldn't have been any more friendlier some of the best food I've ever had at Sam's kitchen! The pool and hot tub worked out great would definitely stay here again

Affordable and close to shopping and transport options. Beach a block away.

Disappointed immediately upon arrival, small, everything is dark (not at all bright & cheery like the photos). Pool area wasn’t super clean and is shared with a restaurant so outside diners come through frequently, rooms are tiny, loud construction noise made louder because bathroom window doesn’t close. Overall do not recommend. Good location though.

Centrally located and close to the beach. Not the most luxurious of properties. Pool was dirty and jacuzzi wasn’t working.
