We got here and the staff was super rude and wouldn’t give us towels and then we noticed the bed was a little shifted and the next day it broke and they told us to leave without even offering a new room I wouldn’t go back here if it’s was free and we were forced to get a new room at a different hotel and honestly there r way better just down the road
I’ve been coming to the Royal Palm hotel in Miami on a regular basis and as always it’s was
wonderful. As usual Elizabeth ( front desk manager ) is so awesome. I had some issues the last time I was there in October and she took care of me. I currently stayed at the hotel from 1/18 /25to 1/22./25 There were some issues with the room, and after taking to Elizabeth about it, she immediately took care of it.
She changed my room to a beautiful Ocean view. It meant so much to me because I was celebrating my birthday on 1/19/25, so this really meant a lot to me.
Elizabeth always exceeds my expectation. I’m
always amazed about how much she shows that she cares about the guest.
Elizabeth, thank you so much for making my 49th birthday so special.
Kindly
Alexander Wallace
Let me start by saying I booked a trip way in advance 25 day stay !! When I got here they did not even have my room ready ! When I did get to check in the light bulbs in my room did not work at all I paid for a kitchen or at least something do I can cook that was messed up all together! Pipe under the sink was completely off I didn’t even notice until I turned on the water and it started going everywhere! Dirty dishes! I called and emailed the owner multiple times and he would not answer only through text… make complaints downstairs they told me they can’t do anything because they are privately owned! This was all going on first two weeks I was here people in and out my room couldn’t even enjoy myself! Going on my last week and still not fixed! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I have been to this hotel several times and I absolutely recommend it!! The location is perfect and the staff is very pleasant! The rooms are spacious!! Will be going soon!! My family really enjoys coming here!!
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH!!!! A day before I was scheduled to arrived, I tested positive for covid. I called the hotel and gave them the news to try and see if I could work something out. They told me that "everyone has been exposed" and that I should come anyway as they could handle it. Ultimately, I just decided not to go because gee I dont know, its kind of the responsible thing to do. So if you go, just understand that there could be more people with covid than a hospital. It is one this to have covid but it is another to knowingly allow people to come and put your other guests/families in danger. I will never book a hotel that does not prioritize my health within or outside of a pandemic.
Great location, and nice and quiet, but a little on the shabby side. Our safe, TV and one of the bedside lamps didn't work but as we were out a lot that didn't matter too much. It's USP is its location for the price.
I love how close it was to the strip. Only 5 mins from Ocean Dr. It was outdated and could use a good renovation but it served its purpose.
Do not book here. The only pro was that the nice man at the front let us check in early. However, once we got to the room we noticed hair everywhere! On the sheets, pillows, towels, floor. There was a terrible smell that wouldn’t go away no matter how much Lysol we sprayed, or odor eliminators we had. There were brown chunks of some unknown substance on the walls. They did not sweep the floors. The bathroom was sooooo grimy, it was ridiculous.. I felt itchy staying there the first night. Ultimately, we received a refund for the other 2 nights we planned to stay, and moved to another hotel. This hotel has potential, but they really need to get some real cleaners and not use family. It needs a good, hard, cleaning.. location is great though.. if you plan to come to Miami and just want a place to leave your bags, this could be good. If you plan to actually stay at the room, I wouldn’t recommend. We were in RSB condo 327.
It’s a pretty basic hotel, everything looked cleaned, but there was mold in the corner of my room and
when I went to take a shower I opened up a towel and there was a big long hair in the towel...
Great location. Cheap. Room smelt damp. Safe didn’t work. Room needs modernising and hotel needs it too
You get what you pay for
The front desk guy wasn't friendly at all, he had a very dry attitude and was short on conversation. There's no free parking available at this hotel and I don't remember the website stating that. The room window doesn't work, overall bad experience. Never again
Location can't be beat. Part of hotel on Washington, but most faces side streets so not so noisy and crowded. Only 3 blocks to beach. Several convenience stores nearby, though there is a Publix at 6th and Alton. Rooms are clean and recently updated with fridge and microwave. Bed comfy. 24 hour front desk. All staff I interacted with courteous. Check the closet, there's a beach umbrella there. Beach towels and ice at the front desk.
One suggestion: please get blackout drapes! The ones in my room were sheer and let in too much light. Blackout drapes are standard in hotels now.
I love it because is walkable to everything, to restaurants, beach, stores , very good..
Great location, staff was friendly, room was clean can't ask for anything better than that for the price
The solarium was an added bonus. The location is great. However, the hotel needs renovating.
Loved my stay here! Great location, clean rooms and great front desk service!
Decent Hotel, you are getting what you paid for. Service is excelent, clean rooms. Location is good next to news cafe.
Limited parking. Garage was 2 blocks away.
Room was a down grade
Everything was ok. Where ready to
help at any time.
