Services, meals, location
Facility was clean but aged.
The beds were so comfortable
Really no complaints, but if I had to choose, maybe parking
The hotel was beautiful inside. My room was spacious and clean and pleasantly quiet.
The location of the hotel was in a subpar area, like low poverty. There were a lot of homeless people walking around. For a hotel of that magnitude, one would think it would surround itself in a much better environment.
Very disappointing. The first thing was a strong smell of marihuana in the hall coming from a non-smoking room. But the main disappointment was the trucks at the back of the property that were idling throughout the night. We complained about the noise and exhaust to the front desk, but they brushed us off, saying they do not collect the info about the car their guests travel in and have no means to contact the drivers. They refused to send someone in to advise the drivers who were at the trucks.
We called Hilton's help line. They contacted the property but repeated the same. Moreover, they said that the trucks were outside of the property. Which was a lie, because they were right at the back of the parking lot. The supervisor at Hilton asked to call after checking out nd they will "make it right" for us. We mentioned that we are interested in having it resolved for the night, but they said there is nothing they could do. We called the Hilton the next day upon checking out, , spoke with Ramon. They contacted the property management and said there wouldn't be any compensation for the inconvenience from the property. Case closed.
I suspect that long distance truck driver use this locationoften because there plenty of space to park. All despite a trucks parking lot two minutes away. I do nto recommend staying at this hotel.
Bed was comfortable. Facility was clean.
The accommodation was very dated and old looking.
Air conditioning didn’t work was hot the whole time everything was so expensive on site
We stop here on our drive from Florida to Virginia. Excellent location with easy access from Rt-95 and a few restaurant choices within walking distance (Cracker Barrel, Bojangles, Ruby Tuesday, Starbucks) as well as the restaurant in the hotel. Their walnut chocolate chip cookies are great too. Reasonably priced.
The bathroom vent didn't seem to suck air out of the room
Room was clean and restaurant was great. Love the staff!
The facility was very clean and the staff was phenomenal
The bistro closed too early. The location is awful.
I paid for breakfast
Room was clean Dominos Pizza
We are Hilton Gold. 678k points. Miss diamond by a few nights a year. Loyal here, Europe and Asia.
Booked a room for the night off I-95. Bought the breakfast. Wanted to use FOB credit for a beverage before bed after 12 hours in the car.
Added my husband to the reservation as the reservation system instructed.
Checked in. Clerk (Lisa) advised that even though I put my husband’s name on the reservation somewhere else I didn’t change the number of adults to 2. Therefore no breakfast or FOB for him.
Lisa went so far as to call her manager Cassandra as she could see I clearly intended 2 in the room. Cassandra said nope - absolutely no breakfast or FOB for the 2nd adult. Gold status and loyalty be damned.
This property is independently owned, not corporate (the franchisees are IME always the place where if there will be a problem you will find it).
Icing on the cake? FOB cannot be used for an adult beverage!
Hotel and rooms were really attractive and beds were very comfortable. Loved the pillows.
We thought the hallways were very warm - but thankfully room was lovely and cool. We really didn't like the layout of the bathroom - toilet and tub in one place and sink in another but it wouldn't be enough to keep me from booking at your hotel in the future. We chose not to pay the additional money for breakfast. It would have been nice to provide free coffee or tea and maybe a muffin as we started the trip home.
Front staff very friendly and nice. I have only seen 1 person at any time in the front but even with all going on she is very professional and welcoming everyone.
I needed towels/ we were 3 and the room only had for 2. The front desk could not bring me the towel I had to get it at the front desk. Your front desk is understaffed. Several times I have stayed here and only 1 person is taking care of check-ins, phones and the main hub for information. This is a Hotel not a motel /staff it as such!
