It was awesome and perfect and different
We arrived at Mena house on February 25 until March 2 . 2 rooms 319-317 adjoining. Family of 3 . I rate because of what happened when we needed to stay longer 2 nights because of the civil unrest in Dubai Not able to get a flight out of Dubai-we were able to find a flight out from Egypt Air. Leaving Wednesday March.. 4 . We had a late check out on March 2 went to the front desk at approximately 1:30 to ask if they could accommodate us for 2 additional nights. Two rooms they were going to charge us and additional 3,100 . And the men at the front deck were cold to say the least . Unblinking,not a pause . I get Marriot is in business however this was beyond our control. Even a slight discount would have been appreciated. Considering the stress . So when you book this hotel remember they do not care about you . For those nights February 25-March 2 we already paid close to 6,000. We packed up and went to the Ritz on the Nile. Remember this review.
La vista sulle piramidi è a dir poco meravigliosa. Bellissimo fare colazione sotto il sole mentre guardi le piramidi e te le godi appieno, con calma. Davvero stupendo
Metterei magari un ristorante in più con una scelta diversa da ristorante indiano: opterei più per un ristorante arabo per provare la loro cucina

Loved this hotel. It was very different walking through the gardens and past the various water features to go to breakfast and dinner. All the staff we polite and wanting to provide good service. Rooms were spacious and clean. And that view of the pyramids what more can you ask for. Fabulous

Sehr gutes Frühstücks-Buffet mit sehr freundlichem Personal (Maitre Mohammed besonders hervorzuheben)
Buchung von touristischen Aktivitäten (Grand Egyptian Museum etc.) über Concierge mit Reisebüro im Hintergrund
Ein Teil der Zimmer liegt sehr nahe an einer großen Hauptstraße, daher ständiger Lärm (hupende Autos etc.)
Es wurde nicht explizit darauf hingewiesen, dass das historische "Mena-House" i.e.S. derzeit geschlossen ist, da es vollständig renoviert wird (Wiedereröffnung erst 2027), man wohnt in modernen Zimmern des "Marriott Mena House"
Der Golfplatz des Mena-House, der in vielen Internet-Auftritten beworben wird, ist derzeit ebenfalls geschlossen, wurde auch nur auf Nachfrage erwähnt
Der Bar-Bereich ist sehr ungemütlich, direkt vor den Aufzügen, kühle Atmosphäre, kein warmes Licht
La localisation et la vue sur les pyramides, les extérieurs magnifiques, l’hôtel en général.
Les chambres (Deluxe avec balcon, vue sur jardin) pas très grandes et plutôt standardisées, la salle de bain petite. Le prix élevé, mais on paye la localisation…
This was definitely one of the highlights of our Egypt trip. The accommodation and amenities were fabulous. Food was great. You can't get a better location to view the pyramids. They have a consierge service that is amazing!! So helpful and can find a tour geared towards what your interests are. We did a farm tour. They have a " bank" so you can easily get Egyptian cash. If possible I highly recommend a couple nights there.
The hotel is unbeatable in terms of location (at the foot of the pyramids) and vibe. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was the epitome of luxury and space. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. The service was impeccable: Amal, Mahmoud and Wageeh made sure we were well-taken care of. The room staff was superb in terms of cleanliness and attentiveness. The rooms are pricey ($700-$1400) but it is an experience of a lifetime.
