Exceptional stay, at a premium hotel overlooking the pyramids
Pros:

Super easy access to the pyramids. 5 min ride in a golf cart. Also very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Very nice pool area with friendly staff serving free snacks to the drinks. The evening view over the pyramids, having a cocktail at the 139 Pavillion restaurant, is hard to beat, as well as having breakfast overlooking the pyramids. Hotel area is very clean and well maintained. All plantations are beautiful and well kept with plenty of flowers.

The location and history of the hotel

Cons:

Feel needs to get back some of its old history and atmosphere. At the end disappointed with baggage storage and having to hunt for a missing bag

Hard to resist given the views of the pyramids

Cons:

The food was not nearly as good as was last time we stayed particularly at the India restaurant. The hotel needs a bigger and more atmospheric bar .

It’s good but not exceptional
Pros:

The proximity to the pyramids & the GEM and the feeling of calm and seclusion outside of a very busy area.

Cons:

Whilst the views are great - some events during the stay do impede that view sometimes.

The hotel feels a little dated and a bit overpriced for what you get:

vue exceptionnelle sur les pyramides et entrée directe sur le site, gentillesse du personnel, confort de l'hôtel

Cons:

Excursion réservée de manière très approximative par la conciergerie, avec une paiement qui aurait dû se faire par carte bleu auprès du guide, mais qui était impossible, des billets qui auraient être payés à l'avance mais qui ne l'était pas et un programme détaillé de visite que le guide ne connaissait pas !
Carte American express piratée après que le service de réservation de l'hôtel nous ait demandé trois les fois les coordonnée pour garantir la chambre... !

The property is tired and old. Needs serious refurb considering the high rate for what you get. You are paying for the view and location
