Vue et emplacement exceptionnels. Pour le reste…..
Pros:

L’emplacement est incroyable, au pied des pyramides. Permet une entrée privée et l’arrivée coté Kheops en étant quasi seuls. Un moment inoubliables.
La vue sur les pyramides est exceptionnelle. Le petit déjeuner ou le dîner face à cette vue est un moment hors du temps.
Les jardins et la piscine sont superbes et agréablement frais malgré la torpeur du Caire.

Cons:

Le prix d’un palace pour un service et des prestations à la limite du 4 étoiles.
Les chambres sont vieillotes, avec des aménagements dépassés, une salle de bain vraiment pas à la hauteur (il n’y a qu’une douche au plafond… mais vous avez un bonnet de douche pour compenser… incroyable dans un établissement soi disant de ce standing. Pas de verres dans la chambre, pas de service de chambre de soirée, décoration triste…
Les services ne sont pas au niveau non plus: accueil aimable mais service minimum. On ne vous accompagne pas à votre chambre, on ne vous guide pas dans l’hôtel, la valise est amenée à l’entrée de la chambre mais pas posée sur le porte bagage.
Les parties d’accueil sont froides, il n’y a pas de vrai bar, pas d’aménagement à la réception. La piscine, très belle au demeurant, a des aménagements d’un autre temps: serviettes usées voire tachées, tapis en plastique à la sortie de l’eau, échelles d’accès à l’eau en mauvais état…
Pour 200 euros ça passerait, pour plus de 500 euros la nuit, tout cela n’est pas normal.
Tout repose sur la vue et l’emplacement, sur une réputation aussi… mais cela ne suffit pas

Un hôtel de rêve pour un site iconique.
Pros:

Un endroit sublime, avec une vue imprenable sur le plus beau site du monde. Une équipe exceptionnelle, charmante, prévenante, disponible à tout moment. Des prestations de grande qualité, des tables variées et délicieuses.
Il n’y a pas plus bel endroit pour découvrir Le Caire. Un bijou !

Pros:

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at this wonderful hotel at the foot of the pyramids. The hotel facilities are wonderful, food in restaurant 139 Pavillon delicious. Tour arrangements a breeze to organise through the very helpful and welcoming team on site. This is a truly special hotel and we hope to be back.

O Mena House é Lindíssimo, e com um serviço de topo.
Pros:

A localização do Hotel é soberba. Tomar o pequeno almoço e jantar frente às pirâmides de Gia é sem duvida magnifico.
A comida era ótima e havia bastante variedade. O pequeno almoço também pode ser servido " à carta" caso não goste de Buffet.
Os funcionários são incansáveis e super amáveis. O Hotel tem bastante segurança, inclusive controlo de malas na entrada.
A piscina é magnifica, sempre muito limpa e com serviço de refeições que funciona perfeitamente, com variedade de escolha. Nós adoramos as saladas e os Panini.
Os quartos estavam impecáveis, e a limpeza era completa, inclusive arrumavam tudo, a vista da varanda magnifica, víamos o Museu do Cairo e piscina.
O Hotel tem um restaurante Italiano com uma qualidade excelente e um Indiano magnifico.
O nosso favorito era o 139, vista para a pirâmides, com um menu excelente, a carne grelhada era magnifica.
No geral, adoramos a nossa estadia.

Cons:

Não gostamos de ter reservado o " transfer" do aeroporto para o Hotel com o Hote, e termos chegado as 02:40 da madrugada (02:40 PM ) e não estra ninguém à espera, nem atenderem o telefone no Hotel.
