Chambres impeccables
Our first visit to Cairo; our main goal was to visit the pyramids and new GEM museum. The Mena House was perfect for us. We invested in a pyramid view room which took our breath away! You could never be unhappy looking out from our balcony. We also made use of the private entrance and golf buggy to the pyramid site - we could avoid all queues and arrived super early before the crowds. This was so convenient - even a little exclusive!
The hotel is smart, easy to navigate and very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and the pool was quiet and elegant. It is clear that the property is very well cared for with attention to detail shown in every corner.
We ate at both the Indian restaurant and Italian for dinner, plus poolside snacks. Service was great and food was pleasant and well priced.
The biggest compliment goes to the staff at this hotel. Every single staff member we met: pool attendants, concierge, reception, security, drivers, gardeners and house keeping were warm, welcoming and so professional.
Thank you for a wonderful visit.
Старость
We stayed 3 nights in this amazing hotel. We loved every minute of our stay there. We hesitated between this one and the city centre as there you can have beer and cheaper hotels but we were really happy we chose Mena house. The location and views are unbeatable.
The garden gives an atmosphere of tranquility from the very noisy city. We were always happy to go back after a busy day. W leaps enjoyed the swimming pool area.
We booked a pyramids view room. Yes, it is more expensive and maybe not needed but in case you want to wake up and go to sleep with a view on pyramids, there is no better choice. It was my dream to see the pyramids so no regrets here.
The staff in the hotel is very friendly and professional.
The breakfast in the Pavillon is very good, very good variety and again, the view is just amazing.
The hotel offers a special treat to its guest - a golf cart service to the Plateau which brings you directly to the Great pyramid, and if you wish also back to the hotel. This was great. We went rather early (we took the cart at 8.30) and hence, we were at the Great pyramid before all the crowds. Thanks to this, we were able to go inside the pyramid without major stress as there were not many people and it was easy to get out.
If we ever go back to Cairo for pyramids, we will stay in Mena House.
The beauty of this hotel is unmatched. After visiting 6 continents, this has been the most magical. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like hospitality is their only mission. Our experience was grander at the morning breakfast with Mohamed Hassan and his staff helped us enjoy once in a lifetime views of the Pyramids from the restaurant. His kindness, patience and quest for excellence makes the hotel even better! I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for ancient wonders and high end luxury!
O enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was great. Karim, Amal, and Mahmoud were very attentive and kind. The team in general was magnificent. The food was excellent and plentiful.
