The pool, gym, location and ambiance
The carpet in the room was a bit old and the lighting for makeup quite dark
Staff was great
We booked a harbour view room but ended up with a Cruise Ship view room for the same price. The ship was parked 10m from our balcony
The hotel room was not 5 star. It needs an update to take it to the level we expected of a 5 star Hilton experience.
The opera singer in the foyer, location and excellent concierge were the highlights.
Location, roomy rooms, great staff
Exceptional service from all the staff from the bottom to the top 👍Amazing room with superb views although furniture a little tired. Shower was very difficult for my elderly husband very slippery tiles and too near the door so we had flooding!
Bathroom shower I think there has been problems with the water coming out onto the carpet before? There wasn’t a rubber mat or something to stop you slipping. Sorry but we did not enjoy the dinner we had @ Fish with our guests.
Loved the views
Room was clean
Staff absolutely helpful and provide as high standard service.
Room was so out dated. Tea and coffee wasn’t filled up. TV in the bedroom was out of date. Smart TV was required to be updated
Nice hotel. Located at the end of Princes Warf and central to the downtown Auckland. Since hotel is on the Warf large cruise ships port next to hotel. We had a very nice room on top floor with massive balcony. This provided nice views of city and harbor. Hotel was under some renovations so pool was not available. Fish restaurant was nice for breakfast we didn’t have dinner at the restaurant. Bellini the lobby bar was nice and also offered food. We had dinner here two nights and food was ok. They did make a nice espresso martini! Staff were nice and professional. Overall nice hotel
Location location location
The huge cruise ships parked outside my balcony most mornings 🙈 but out of your control I know!
Staff were amazing and the food in the restaurant was outstanding
A little overpriced to be honest
Location.
No thing
Good location but hotel is showing its age and does require some updating. Very close to the ferry port. We were on the 4th floor with huge balcony and sea views. Some noise from ferry horns which start quite early in the morning. Comfortable and clean but dated. Continental breakfast buffet was fine. Short walk to restaurants and shops.
They must have some renovated rooms in the hotel due to the reviews I read before booking, however that was not the case for the room we had for our 5 day stay. It was filthy and in dire need of repair. The bathroom floor looked as if it had not been washed in yeard. I moved a chair to find it covering a large pet stain. The balcony table and chairs where covered in dirt. Btw, 3 of the 5 days we were greeted by large cruise liners instead of the Harbour view. They definitely do not have enough staff to look after the rooms as we would return from a day out to having to ask for new towels to be sent to the room after dinner. The hotel was full and the staff were doing their best. The next time we will try the Intercontinental or the Hyatt. Our 5 day stay at the Intercontinental Sydney Harbour was amazing. This stay was 2 star compared to their 6 star experience.
Location and view
Quality of tile finish in bathrooms and shower , looks old and not so clean
We arrived very early. They re-arranged breakfast reservations for us and gave us a very early check-in. We were exhausted and very grateful. The service and the food for the buffet breakfast was fabulous.
Property is a great location on Princes Wharf.
Hilton did not tell us prior to arriving that a Cruise Ship..the Volendam would berth next to our room(HarbourView) for all of the day that two nights would give us.No view as booked except cabins on the Ship. Why were we not told so we could rebook elsewhere. Not being told upset us the most.
