Pros:

Good location with easy parking, considering it is in the city center .Very comfortable bed and pillows.

The room ( a Harbor view room)
we stayed in looked tired and outdated and did not feel like a Hilton-standard room. The carpet appeared old, worn, and discolored, and the bathroom was also very dated. The grouting in the bathroom looked untidy and discolored in places. The towels felt old and worn, which further detracted from the overall impression of the room. Overall, the room would benefit from refurbishment and updating.

Comfortable. well appointed hotel, pleasant bar area and easy walk to the local CBD

Cons:

The restaurant was a big disappointment. An entree particularly unsatisfactory and not charged for. We went on 2 occasions to the bar for an evening drink, which was good, nice area, good service, and drinks accompanied by a small bowl of nuts which we thought were complimentary. We discovered on checkout that they were charged to us for a few dollars, not such a big deal., but surprising.

Bellini bar a disappointment in the food area.
Pros:

This is not a hotel review but rather one of the Bellini Bar in the hotel. I have stayed at this hotel previously and knew the bar area was lovely, overlooking the water etc… I decide on a whim at 11.15 am after going online and seeing that the bar area opened at 10 am that I would pop in for something to eat and drink. WhenI went up to the counter ( no one was around)..I grabbed a menu of drinks and snacks. Literally five or so things to choose from and one was a sharing platter.
Eventually a man came to assist me and I asked what non alcoholic drinks there were ( the drinks menu is big). I was shown coke,Coke Zero etc….I said I would,have salt and pepper squid and a coke ( he didn’t seem to get the notion of a mocktail.)
It was around 11.30 at this stage, was then told that I couldn’t order for around another 40 minutes.
Asked what there was to eat and he pointed to one!!!!!!!!! Only one muffin on a plate. Said no thank and left. Literally cannot believe this hotel has nothing to eat until maybe 12.00? If you plan staying here the bar menu is limited.

As special as ever!
Pros:

The Hilton Auckland was just great again recently and I could really unwind there. I liked my room with a balcony with its view of the Hotel swimming pool and a sliver of harbour. THe bed and bed linens were super comfortable and dominated by crisap white lines. Breakfast was, as ever, awesome!

A unique location on the wharf, lovely foyer and bar area and terrific staff helped make this a memorable stay
Pros:

Great location on the wharf and a lovely nautical foyer area right on the harbour. It had the feel of an ocean liner. Terrific staff who jumped on all requests quickly and pleasantly. The staff were a standout and a credit to the Hilton name.

Cons:

Breakfast if not included, is expensive. Rooms are very nice with large bathrooms more corporate than luxurious but still very comfortable. At first I struggled with the detachable shower hose but eventually tamed the beast. I appreciated the pool and used it daily.

The location was fabulous, as were the staff. The view was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. The food was high quality.

Cons:

The bathroom was odd, and there are no hooks on the wall to hang your wet towel, so we had to hang them over the glass that sectioned off the bathroom.

A high end hotel in the middle of the city but outside the hustle and bustle
Pros:

As expected of a Hilton Hotel the staff and facilities were amazing. The bed was very comfortable! I booked a room with a view and was not disappointed. It had a decent sized deck adjacent to the room too.
