Incredibly frustrating with no transparency.
Pros:

The rooms were updated nicely and clean. Restaurant and Starbucks on site were nice.

Cons:

The entire reason for booking the property was to visit the pool with my young son. Upon check in we were told the pool would be opened that evening. Every day the staff said the pool would be open soon. The pool never opened as they were having issues balancing the salinity. I would have rather been told upfront they would not be open. I would have cancelled my reservation and found a different hotel in the area with a pool. There are many. Instead we left days later incredibly upset with a very sad and disappointed toddler.

Gratis parkeren. Ruime kamer met gedeeltelijk uitzicht op het meer. Lekker gegeten in de bar.

Cons:

Alle ramen lek waardoor ie niet naar buiten kon kijken door vocht tussen de ramen. Badkamer matig (donkere rand langs douchevloer en deur versleten), bank op de kamer vies. Kamer viel voor deze prijs nog al tegen. Gelukkig waren we er maar voor 1 nacht

Rooms were spacious and comfortable

Cons:

The rooms could be cleaner. The gym was closed and it’s not mentioned before booking and letting oks like it’s going to be closed for a long period of time. Need to have a better room service dinner menu with more options and desserts.

The Starbucks grand opening was underwhelming, they ran out of coffee and could only do espresso and the breakfast buffet was almost $30 pp and felt over priced

Very pleasant stay.
Pros:

We were very happy with our stay! The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Nice lobby too!
The only thing that we have as feedback that didn't work for us, is we requested the wall light bulb to be replaced next to our door in the hallway and it wasn't throughout our stay. Other than that, we highly recommend the Marriott in Mystic!

Loud!!!!!
Pros:

It was clean and had great amenities

Cons:

They had a loud event going on and the music was so loud that my child and I couldn’t sleep. It finally stopped after midnight. I asked an employee who told me the Waterford speed way was having an event even though there is a quiet time at the hotel. It doesn’t pertain to events.
I also tried to have the hotel and bookings.com make it right since I got no sleep and had a child up too but both the hotel and booking.com did nothing to resolve the issue. I called multiple people and emailed and got the run around. Not impressed with booking.com at all.

It was okay.
