One of the best hotel i have ever used
Pros:

From the location to room, from staff to everything. overall they treated the guest exceptionally well. despite some language barrier. We arrived early, they gave us the room 4 hours before without any charge so that we and the kid can sleep well

Great Location, Pleasent Stay
Pros:

It has a wonderful location and great convenience, as summarized in my previous review (2024).

The front desk staff are all very polite, patient, and professional.

The Concierge Department staff are extremely helpful, providing excellent guidance and service. Guest Relations Manager Mr. Gawahi is exceptionally courteous, greeting guests warmly and offering help proactively.

My room service personnel works diligently and thoughtfully.

Cons:

The room doesn’t seem to be well soundproofed.

Poor hospitality and extremely uncooperative
Pros:

I’m a doctoral student from India. I was at Beijing for medical Conference. This hotel was the venue for the conference so I booked them for stay as well. They charged me 400 RMB as deposit in addition to the room fare. Nobody else was charged this amount. When refunding it back the desk manager refunded the entire room fare as well as the deposit and asked me to pay for room stay again. I was using single currency forex card and the refund amount never reflected. They said it might take a month. So now I was left with two paid bills and no refund. I contacted the bank and they asked me to take a letter from the hotel saying they will not claim the refund money back. This was for my bank to release the refund amount to me as it was on hold. The hotel refused to help with this either. The staff is extremely poorly informed. They don’t help. It was their fault but all they could say was it was unfortunate. I don’t recommend this hotel for any international travelers.

A lovely stay
Pros:

Cozy and comfortable with very friendly helpful staff. Gym was almost empty first thing in the morning. Room was spatious and clean with all the amenities. I work remotely and wifi connection was stable and fast enough. Heating can be regulated in the room. Location is probably the best in Beijing, everything is close, subway and bus stations, restaurants, stores. I loved the food and room service staff were very kind. Overall had a great experience. I can see the hotel was built some time ago but I don’t mind as the good atmosphere outweighs it. Will definitely be back here next year.

Perfect location. Clean. Very friendly staff

Cons:

The facility is old..we were assigned a room that is super dark, the curtains can barely close fully. I did not check in because I arrived late. If I were there during the check in, I would request another room.

Pros:

This hotel is located in the center of the capital city with a series government buildings, historical points of interest, financial facilities and varies types of restaurants and shopping centers within the walking distance. It is very convenient for having a plenty of choices on morning breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, many public transportation and subway stations, convenient stores and bakeries are nearby.

Cons:

Some of the rooms are having no AC control unit available, or it is not function normally.
