Wow what a hotel
Pros:

We stayed here as part of the Canyon Spirit train trip.
What a great hotel. Our room was massive. And the beds were so comfortable. The best part - the skin peeling shower.
Pool was nice. Quite cool in the morning but nice in the evening.
Room and everything was spotless.
We had breakfast in the hotel - nothing really special and overpriced hotel food but it was good enough. If you are into buffets, check out the hotel across the street.
Tram to airport is across the street ($2.50 one way to airport).

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner qui n’est pas possible de prendre avec la chambre, il faut aller se commander café et complément à l’intérieur de l’hôtel

Downtown Elegance
Pros:

The Grand America hotel is a beautiful property with comfortable accommodations. The pool area is very nice and we enjoyed a meditation class with Jessica, a great wellness activity the hotel offers. The onsite restaurants were a bit overpriced, but within walking distance to many downtown SLC dining options. We had a challenge with housekeeping, but management did work with us to resolve our concerns.

Pros:

Very impressive hotel. Great location in the light rail system to get around Salt Lake City without a car. Green line from airport to within a block of hotel.
