Excellent service & delicious food
Pros:

I got great service from every staff member. However, the breakfast team was WAY above and beyond. It's my first morning back home, and I am missing the made to order omelette from folks who go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible.

It was too cold to be out exploring Chicago much, but the breakfasts and evening receptions were great... I spent my destination fee credit on a smashburger that was enough for two, and another day on lunch at Monarch & Lion - which is such a lovely place. We also got some Portillos via doordash, and when the delivery person had trouble finding my room, a staff member escorted her up.

Can't wait to come back!

Great location
Pros:

Peter has been very friendly and informative. Rooms are clean and cant complain to the complementary evening drinks and breakfast. We typically stay here when we visit Chicago, so its definitely not a miss. Great location and walking distance from the Pair and shopping.

I loved this hotel in Atlanta. Didn’t like it in Chicago
Pros:

I usually love this hotel

Cons:

The staff. The broken elevator. Switching us around in the rooms when we could have stayed in the same one due to 2 bookings.

Pros:

Well located in the middle of the city and great value for money. Room is spacious and cozy, and they have many amenities like breakfast, swimming pool, and fitness room.

Cons:

We can hear conversations and arguments from another room in the middle of the night. Noise insulation in the room could have been better.

Good spot great staff
Pros:

This visit was a dream but Kristie the in Reservations was super helpful in explaining everything I needed so I understood exactly what would happen and set my expectations perfectly before I arrived. Darnell was all smiles and I loved being greeted by him! McKayla was amazing for help in checking me in. The elevator was under construction but waiting wasn't bad because the lobby was big and spacious, so I could sit down and set down my things while I waited.

Pros:

Очень понравилось местоположение отеля ко всем достопримечательности можно дойти пешком! Номер оборудован шикарно микроволновка чай холодильник и три раковины!)

Cons:

Но за водой надо ходить в фитнес зал, в фитнес зале только гантели и беговые дорожки. Мало тренажеров. В Бассейне и фитнесе нет персонала, нет фена. Но по запросу дают и халат и тапочки.

Staff was friendly and location was not as convenient as expected.
Pros:

The meal was what I expected for a buffet style meal. The location was near Michigan Avenue.

Cons:

We didn't like to cross the street and go up 2 flight of stairs to get to street level with Michigan Avenue. That was hard for my Wife that has leg injuries.

Weekend in Chicago
Pros:

My daughter and myself came to Chicago for a sport competition. This was the same weekend as CubsFest and the Bears game, so it was quite full. The Embassy Suites Magnificent Mile had an easy check in process with Jay, and when the room we were initially assigned was not ready, it was quickly switched to another room. It's nice to have two rooms if traveling with kids to make a bigger space. The room was clean and well appointed. We appreciated the two tvs and the easy to connect to internet. The breakfast buffet was well run and efficient. We did not do the omelet station, but it was very popular. Currently an elevator bank is being worked on in the hotel, but waits were never very bad--don't let that discourage you. I liked that the front desk will text you and respond to any questions during your stay. We also stopped by the small gift shop for gum, and it was nice not to go out into the cold. When it was time to leave, the Bellhop was able to get us a cab to the airport in about a minute. I'd definitely recommend the Embassy Suites to anyone visiting the downtown area.
