Breakfast was a great bonus to our stay! Lots of options available and staff constantly working to refill everything!
Pool was a little small and over crowded.
The location
The staff and the room being cold temperature being preset and having no control over the heat
Everything
Can’t complain of anything.
location!
nothing!
The staff were very nice and accommodating! We were able to check it early and the front desk lady was very friendly! I love the complimentary snacks and drinks during happy hour and the breakfast was great! Lots of options and the cooks were very nice!
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like
I liked the King suite. Very roomy and comfortable. I also liked that breakfast was included. I also liked the staff. Very helpful and friendly.
I didn't like the fact that only 1 elevator was working. Kind of held us back and made us lose time on our schedule.
Friendly staff
Elevators not working. Only one out of 4 elevators working. With 3000+ guest lots of waiting
Good
First time visiting Chicago and we liked that the hotel was close to a lot of places. Hotel was big and clean. Staff there were pleasant. They answered all of our questions and resolved any concerns in a timely manner.
The room was clean; however, the bathroom needs to be updated. The handle on the faucet felt loose and the silicone around the bathtub looked a bit uneven, with a few blotches on the tub surface. The washroom door looked a bit worn. We didn't have enough towels for a family of four but when we requested extra towels, they provided them right away. I did notice the bath mat had some brown stains. Not sure if it was cleaned or maybe the stains don't come off anymore when washed.
The sofa bed was missing a bolt but when we brought that issue up, they immediately sent someone to fix it, which we appreciated very much.
Elevators...only two were working. There were times that there was a line up just to go up from the lobby. Obviously when it came we all had to squeeze ourselves in the elevators.
Complimentary breakfast was good. We never had an issue finding a table and there was always enough food available.
Parking was expensive...$65 a day. I guess it's because we are in downtown...but it's pricey. We are from Canada, so after the conversion it was around $89 for parking.
This was an inexpensive family stay in downtown Chicago.
What was good:
-location
-a suite room so kids had their own space
-free breakfast
-check in was easy
-staff was very responsive and courteous
-parking was easy albeit pricey but it is downtown Chicago
-it was relatively quiet even downtown. Beds were comfortable.
What was bad:
-only two of the four elevators were working so there were long waits and crowded elevators
-the whole place did not have enough towels. We asked for extra towels and were brought an assortment of a pool towel, hand towel, and bathmat?!
-we asked for more towels at the pool (there were none) and the brought hand towels 🤣.
-the housekeeping was not done until 4 PM and we had to wait in the lobby
-parts of the room were just run down and not super clean
Would I stay here again for an inexpensive stay with family? Maybe. Would I stay here as a couple? No.
Aida hgv she was awesome! She deserves a raise!!!
The staff was very helpful with all request.
Only one set of elevators were functional
Breakfast was great, lots of choices.
it was close to several bus stops to get to various destinations around the city
the room was clean and spacious; we had a king suite for 4 people.
