Mediocre at best
Pros:

Location was great, next to McDonalds, Tim Hortons, grocery store, dollar store... short walk from downtown and close to hiking trails.

Cons:

I saw 5 rooms before I finally agreed to one. They first 4 were either visibly dirty (toilet, peanuts on floor, bugs on bed from filthy air conditioning unit right next to it) or had broken items (fridge, air conditioner). Pool area was full of garbage, pool was filthy. Little to no housekeeping available, I had to argue to have clean towels and toilet paper brought to me and garbage removed. Staff was unapologetic and argumentative about conditions of room and grounds, lack of housekeeping.

Petit dejeuner inclus
Pros:

En reservant avec booking, le petit dejeuner etait compris
Mais à l hotel on me dit " pas inclus" vous devez le payer.
On m'a donné un bon de 10 $cad pour 2 chambres reservées ( 3 personnes dejeunaient) soit 20 dollars cad de reduction.
J ai donc payé 35 dollars cad pour 3 tit dej.
Booking doit se mettre à jour, je pense, pour eviter ce genre de mauvaise surprise.

De devoir payer 3 tit dejeuner normalement inclus dans le prix

Pros:

L'emplacement idéal pour Guananoque

Cons:

La propreté de la chambre avec les poubelles pleines, des restes de nourriture dans le frigo, des insectes dans les lits et sur les murs...
Par ailleurs, petit déjeuner compris dans notre réservation mais qui nous a été facturé malgré discussion en nous répondant qu’ils ne le faisaient plus et que c’était comme ça...

Cons:

The way they handle the security deposit is very inconvenient. At check‑in they charge a $200 guarantee. When you leave, hours later they send you an email asking you to come back to the hotel if you’re still in the area. If not, you have to reply to the email so they can refund the deposit to your card. And even then, the refund takes a full week. In total, you get your deposit back about 14 days after check‑out. On top of that, you have to manage every step yourself; if you don’t, it really feels like they’re trying to keep your money.

Cons:

You have to purchase water or drink from the bathroom theres no variety on their breakfast only bread,eggs,muffins and somethings that looked like sausages which were very oily. Our room had animal fur on the mat inside the room and nomatter how i shook it it never cleaned off. The room needed a deep clean. The rooms are not soundproof i could hear footsteps of my upstairs neighbours until 1am

Dirty, smelly and uncomfortable stay.
Pros:

The staff were welcoming and nice. The pool, although closed, was very nice and clean and would have been very nice to have a swim in had it been open.

Cons:

As soon as we entered the room, we were hit with a horrible smell. The bed and bedding were disgusting and dirty (see photos). Yellow stains, red stains, you name a colour it was stained. Electrics hanging out the wall. Dirty muddy floors. Dirty bath/shower facilities. Only clean part of the room was the actual toilet. Room clearly hadn't been cleaned for a long long time, and the bedding hadn't been changed in a long time. We left after one night and only stayed that one night because it was so late when we arrived we couldn't book another hotel. Avoid at all costs!
