Poor hotel!
Pros:

I’m surprised this hotel hasn’t been shut down by the Health Dept. The service did not include porter service to the room so my 80 yo mom and myself lugged our 11 items to our room via a small elevator that only fit the luggage rack and myself. My mom had to take another elevator. Once we got into the room the horror began.

First, we took off the coverlet from the bed and looked at the sheets. There were numerous obvious stains that should have been washed off or a clean sheet put on.

Secondly, using a “ blue light” flashlight, the shower had black mold growing in the tiles and on the baseboards. My mom is immunocompromised so the idea of black mold in the room was dangerous to her health.

Lastly, using the blue light flashlight, the rug was full of bacteria and noticeable stains were emitted, including what appears to have been blood stains scrubbed into the fibers.

I immediately packed up and left the hotel and closed out my 6-day reservation. Once I notified management I was checking out, I also notified Expedia that I was not paying for the booking!

Great experience
Pros:

My experience was really good! The rooms are quite small but it doesn’t bother at all. Breakfast is good, and staff is really nice and helpful!

Great Location BUT...
Pros:

Location is great and they have a nice lobby/dining area to sit and have lunch/dinner.

Cons:

Air-conditioner is awful, really old and loud. Bathroom is quite small, and the room is old and is not really clean. If you want new towels or have your room cleaned, you'll need to remind the front desk (they don't clean it daily).

Pros:

Demanded cash. Room was stingy . Refused change inspite of vacancy showing online. There is no if you forgot assistance. They charge for everything.
Rugs were wet and smelly corners had fungal growth

Nice n relaxing.
Pros:

Enjoyed the breakfast set up. Having coffee n tea available great. Having towels, beach umbrellas. Matt’s seats free to use.

Hidden Gem
Pros:

Love the location. Room surprised there were two bathrooms with shower and tub.. me and friend each had queen beds with wall for semi privacy. The staff very friendly and accommodating.
Special thankful to valet staff Tyler who was always greeted us with a smile and always offered any assistance may it be directions to local spots or bringing our shopping bags to our room without having to ask.

Great Stay
Pros:

My friend and I had a great time during our trip and quite liked this hotel. It was in a great location, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the beach rentals were a nice addition along with the breakfast. I quite liked the pineapple juice most of all! We would definitely stay here again in we come back to this island in the future. The only downside was the size of the room and how the light seeped in each morning. However, I knew the room would be on the smaller side beforehand. Overall, our room was largely clean with a few minor exceptions.
