The rooms and breakfast were great.
I called the front desk 3x w/a simple question and there was NEVER an answer. They don’t pick up.
We waited a full hour for a comp shuttle from the train stop that was supposed to b no more than 20 min. We called 3x. I’m not sure why they didn’t just b honest and tell us to order an Uber. It was late and dark and there were no benches there for anywhere to sit in that entire hour. That’s rough on a 70 yr old.
Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating
Paying $30 bucks a night to park. Sign out front was $17.99, but I was a guest and paid higher than the shuttle parking. Not right.
Staff was fantastic, location was convenient for my visit and breakfast was good.
No in room microwave, which was frustrating as I got in really late and couldn't heat my dinner. Issues getting a shuttle and was told I would need to get an Uber. The staff were doing their best, and were very friendly, but would have been less expensive to drive my car and park in the lot.
The only positive aspect was the Wonderful friendly welcoming staff!!! at breakfast 😁
What happened to basic standards of customer service!? Since you are asking, The following is aimed as a constructive critique for hotel management regarding ways to improve the level of service and the quality of the hotel as the place and experience was so disappointing;(
The hotel itself is way overpriced for the value itself (as an aside, Location itself also not the best - it took a very long time to wait for the airport shuttle to arrive and the journey itself was far, considering it was advertised as an airport hotel? And no stores or restaurants nearby as hotel is on a busy roadway) Not very friendly shuttle bus drivers either)
At least there was amazing, welcoming breakfast/kitchen staff who all seemed happy to see all the customers and it was very busy even if the food was low quality bulk food!
Check in was very slow and front desk staff not welcoming. And no bedding was ready for the extra bed and took much too long to arrive at room later even after offering to come pick it up ourselves at front desk. Only one smelly elevator was working and old style, motel like lobby front hallway, old carpeting in rooms and hallways, and poor selection of drinks and snacks for purchase and hotel guests were carrying water bottles and food items from across the highway as that was the only option, so not a favorable situation, and very inconvenient for those whose flights arrive late or very early and for parents with young children. Pool area outdated, very uninviting and dank, water looked unclean, and hot tub was out of service, so for families who choose hotels with swimming possibility, this was another disappointment. (Heard now too that the hot tub is frequently reported as closed for maintenance but for how long).
Overall Such an overpriced place for low value.
