Location at Wang FuJing is great. The Chinese and Western restaurants were both good.
Room cleaning is excellent. Most hotel staff could speak okay English - some speak better. Hotel lobby and lounge is spacious and feels welcoming with much natural light coming through.

Cons:

Our room at the old wing was big at 600+ sq ft. But outdated. Dark brown carpet, dark brown sofa and old big fridge need to be updated. King Bed was hard on our backs ! Grand Hyatt could afford to change to better mattresses like other international 5 star hotels. We walked a lot for the 5 days we were in Beijing so not being able to sleep on a good bed at the end of the day was disappointing.
My son's room was smaller in the new wing - bed was better.

Wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Beijing
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Beijing. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very well located. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the service throughout our stay was excellent.
A special thank you to the guest relations team and all the staff for their kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality. Everyone was very helpful and made us feel truly welcome.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Grand Hyatt Beijing again on our next visit. Highly recommended.

Cons:

One suggestion that would make the experience even better for Muslim guests would be to introduce a dedicated halal menu or clearly marked halal food options, especially in-room dining.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit außergewöhnlich zuvorkommenden Service und wunderbaren Wellness- und Poolbereich
Pros:

Der Service und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist außergewöhnlich. Ich war nun schon zum weiten Mal in diesem Hotel und durfte beide Male einen perfekten Aufenthalt genießen. Beim ersten Mal war ich schwanger und nahm leider einen leichten Geruch nach Rauch in meinem Zimmer wahr. Daraufhin erhielt ich ein Zimmerupgrade und wurde sehr zuvorkommend behandelt. Beim zweiten Aufenthalt vor ein paar Wochen kam ich mit meiner Schwiegermutter und meinen Kindern, um den Geburtstag meines Sohnes zu feiern. Nachdem ich beim Einchecken darüber informiert hatte, dass am nächsten Tag der Geburtstag meines Sohnes war, organisierten die freundlich Dame an der Rezeption einen Kuchen, den er zum Frühstück am nächsten Morgen bekam. Damit wurde uns eine große Freude gemacht! Außerdem ist der Wellness Bereich und Pool außergewöhnlich. Zudem ist alles sehr sauber und die Lage natürlich sehr zentral. Alles absolut zu empfehlen!

Cons:

AC was not working properly, room outdated for the price & when we checked in we waited an hour for the bags, I had to go down personally to get them as it would have taken 2-4 hours. Also charging the Deposit as an actual charge, then now having to wait 3-10 days to receive it back. When also speaking with staff only a few people were available as most are not English speakers so we was passed around a lot till we go to the right employee

Rustpunt in het hectische Beijing
Pros:

Prachtig hotel op een centrale locatie. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, alle faciliteiten en veilige omgeving. De pekingduck in het restaurant is een absolute aanrader, net als de pastries in de lobby.

Cons:

Zwembad is erg druk met kinderen dus niet heel relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Beijing and were thoroughly impressed with our experience. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, and the housekeeping service is truly impeccable. We also thoroughly enjoyed the spa and appreciated the consistently high standard of service throughout our stay.
A special thanks to Hannah for her outstanding professionalism, attentiveness, and warmth. She went above and beyond by also providing excellent recommendations for our next destination. She is a true asset to the team and made our trip even better.

Our stay at Grand Hyatt Beijing was exceptional from start to finish. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious suite on the 17th floor with a separate bedroom and living room, which made the stay especially comfortable and relaxing. The food and breakfast were excellent, with a very good selection and high-quality service throughout.

The staff were consistently professional, attentive and welcoming, and the hotel’s location is perfect for discovering Beijing. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly choose Grand Hyatt Beijing again on our next visit.

Pros:

A localização é excelente, um quarteirão da principal rua fechada de comercio de pequim (wangfujing street). É possivel ir a pé até a cidade proibida e praça da paz celestial, tem vários shoppings e restaurantes ao redor. O café da manhã é espetacular, realmente uma mistura de ocidental e oriental e tudo muito saboroso e com diversas opções para todos os paladares. a parte de piscina também é muito boa, tanto para adultos quanto para as crianças. praticamente todos os dias tinha alguma apresentação musical no lobby. por fim, o nosso quarto era muito amplo e com uma vista muito bonita da cidade
