Under new management, this place is to be avoided. With the exception of a genuinely caring desk clerk Marco (who acknowledges he manages and personally is required to do nearly everything related to the hotel), we would rate the place as highly disappointing and unsanitary and uncomfortable and univiting. The notion this is a top-rated place is unfathomable.

You arrive on a busy street. No one will greet you to open the door. There is no staff except the desk clerk.

The room is dismal, the tv is archaic with a sticky remote. The mattress is a disaster and its frame is silly noisy. The bathroom floor is stained and the shower area is full of mold. The lighting is just sad.

If you go outside, you will see a lovely stand of mature landscaping that likely characterized the earlier status of this place. It is now not maintained. The drinks and food at the each side bar are just awful. The patio area around the bar is highly deteriorating. The seating is sticklike.

When you consider the price to stay here (let’s say $600 a night), it’s just astonishing. We cannot caution you enough: find an alternative.

Arwin made my experience incredible. He was extremely attentive, provided excellent service, gave great recommendations, and truly made everything amazing for my beach day

We went with friends for the day pass to the pool and beach, and the service and facilities were excellent. We had a fantastic day! Thank you so much, Ana, for explaining everything so well and for those pitchers of margaritas!

We had an excellent day, Maca and Juan were very attentive to us and very nice, the food of the place is very tasty just like the cocktails, thank you for your recommendations guys

We had a wonderful stay for a winter week. Marco and his entire hotel staff were very attentive and welcoming. Great safe and clean location for family vacation.

This was like staying at a full resort in the middle of the city.. A lot different from the other South beach hotels we stayed at before
It's proximity to the airport, cruise terminal, and centralized feel to the rest of Miami is to me the perfect location to start or end your stay in.
We had such a great experience as the front concierge Marco welcomed us sincerely and made our stay fun after the long flight that was delayed.
The rooms were comfortable and we had a great stay. We would come here again in as we come almost yearly for Winter season.

The hotel grounds and pool area are well kept and clean. Staff was great especially Marco at the front desk who gave us excellent recommendations and made us feel at home. The location is on the beach and close to the airport, shopping and has an onsite restaurant. There were I definitely have no qualms in staying here again next time I visit Miami Beach.

I had a wonderful stay at the Savoy Hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy my time there.

I especially want to highlight Josefina, who truly made my experience exceptional. She was attentive, kind, and incredibly professional, always making sure everything was perfect and that I felt well taken care of. Her positive attitude and genuine hospitality really stood out and made a big difference in my stay.

I would absolutely recommend the Savoy Hotel and hope to return again soon!

I have been guest in this paradise for over 10 years , PERFECTION . Quiet secluded oasis , true south beach Miami heritage property well maintained and only a stone throw away from the beach . Lush gardens surround their two pools ...bar restaurant St.Tropez style ..rooms spacious always clean with confy mattress . Huge french doors open to balconies both from living and bedroom spaces...having morning coffee overlooking blue ocean and the skies...Unfortunately this past visit I was confronted with the most ridiculous beach policy by their beach manager " even as a guest of the hotel I am not allowed to keep my beach chaise lounge empty for more then 1/2 hour or it will be given to other due to high volume of visitors " WHAT?????!!!??
so i took off for lunch break got back in 2 hours, my seat was gone with beach 2/3 full when back. Handsome beach boy usher I called Bred Pitt apologized to me stating he only follows his manager directions . What a crap ...so SAVOY if you do not allow your guests privileges you charge us for then you must refund us for them . SERIOUSLY think about it or make Brad Pitt your beach manager

Macarena working at the pool was amazing. Such a relaxing time with great service I highly recommend spending time at the Savoy

We stayed one night on a Cruise layover and loved the location. Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Staff was very friendly especially Marco who knows the area well and directed us to an excellent restaurant on Espanola way. We didn't get to use the pool as it rained and was closed early

I had such a wonderful experience at The Savoy Hotel in South Beach. The location alone is unbeatable. Steps from the ocean, close to great restaurants, and right in the heart of everything without feeling chaotic. It is the perfect blend of convenience and relaxation.

The pool area is absolutely magnificent. Spacious, beautiful, and incredibly peaceful. I could have stayed there all day. It really makes the entire experience feel special.

But the highlight of my stay was the front desk service, especially Marco. He was outstanding from the moment I arrived. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure I had the best time possible. He gave me amazing recommendations for fun things to do in the area, and every single suggestion was perfect. His hospitality truly made my stay memorable. Marco even gave me some great personal advice too since I was having a stressful day at one particular moment during my trip.

I would absolutely recommend The Savoy Hotel to anyone visiting South Beach. I cannot wait to return!

Marco was extremely helpful and kind. He made us feel at home the minute we waked in and gave us great recommendations for eating and cycling. Would definitely come back.

Great location to all of the dining venues as well as the beach! Hats off the crew that takes care of the landscaping! Everything was trimmed, clean and looking fantastic! Since it was their slow season (October) we basically had the hotel and pool area to ourselves which was a huge plus. We ordered a chicken club sandwich and guacamole dip from the bar. Sandwich was subpar at best with dried cuts of chicken and a few cherry tomatoes cut in half. Just be mindfull of the "delivery fee" on your bill when you go to tip. They got me good..
