La habitación muy linda
El lobby
Great location & very friendly receptionist
No water or kettle in the room. Room not cleaned until late afternoon
Emplacement
Ricardo, Nicholas, Julio, Macarena y Josefina. All of them are extremely friendly, nice they are down to earth best group I’ve seen by far.
HORRIBLE BEACH CLUB!!! THEFT. CREDIT CARD CHARGES WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION AND WASTED OUR TIME. Friend booked this despite me saying it’s a filthy dump. It rained, they kicked us off the beach and locked away our credit card!! RUSHED OFF OFF THE BEACH so quickly, it was chaos and we had to change into warm clothes in a lobby bathroom (long line as others found the same). Chaotic and in the shuffle the beach club people closed out our tab but never gave us the credit card. It was supposedly in some safe. We had to drive back then next day to get it “because only a manager could unlock it”. We arrive at the time they said to arrive. No manager. NO RESPECT FOR OUR TIME. We waited and waited. Not only did we have to drive back, we then waited. Oh and they had closed out the tab and charged us without our consent. STEALING FROM US!!!! Emailed and called the manager and no response.
The bed was a catastrof. Every move sounds terrible.
I got a Pool and Beach Day pass at The Savoy Hotel. Three days in advance we checked the weather and it looked like it was going to thunderstorm so we reached out to the hotel via email to request a cancellation and refund. No one ever got back to us. We called, and every single time the staff would hang up on us. At one point we tried calling again and the call wouldn’t even go through anymore. We also went to the hotel twice on different dates once we arrived in Miami and spoke to the staff about it. Twice they told us not to worry and that they would get back to us once the request was reviewed and the cancellation processed. No one ever got back to us.
Truly this is terrible costumer service. The hotel hasn’t been considerate of our time and request. In the end it did thunderstorm on the date of our day pass and they have yet not gotten back to us.
Honestly I don’t recommend anyone books the Pool and Beach Day pass here, find a better hotel.
If I could leave 0/5 stars, I would.
We hosted a corporate event at the Savoy Hotel in November 2025. Shortly after the event, the hotel provided a final folio showing a $0 balance, indicating the master account was fully settled and closed.
Four months later, in February 2026, the hotel charged our corporate card $4,700+ without any prior notice, later explaining it was due to a “late close‑out on their end”.
To be clear, we do not dispute paying for legitimate charges. Our issue is process, timing, and professionalism. The hotel’s own contract states that charges are to be settled at the end of the stay or billed within 30 days after the event. Instead, we were given a zero‑balance final folio with no indication of missing charges, only to have our card charged four months later without communication. We discovered the charge ourselves and had to initiate all follow‑up.
Equally concerning was how this was handled the situation - dismissive responses, lack of accountability, and no proactive communication.
Companies considering this property for future events should be aware of how billing is handled and the unprofessional manner in which issues are addressed.
The hotel is lovely and the setting is perfect. We were very happy with the visit and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I was especially happy with the excellent work and friendly manner of the two housekeepers who took care of us: Mari and Diana.
Could use and inside breakfast area
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice rooms, well equipped. Cool Beach Club.
We had a wonderful experience at breakfast thanks to Delwis. He was very friendly and we would highly recommend him to others.
Under new management, this place is to be avoided. With the exception of a genuinely caring desk clerk Marco (who acknowledges he manages and personally is required to do nearly everything related to the hotel), we would rate the place as highly disappointing and unsanitary and uncomfortable and univiting. The notion this is a top-rated place is unfathomable.
You arrive on a busy street. No one will greet you to open the door. There is no staff except the desk clerk.
The room is dismal, the tv is archaic with a sticky remote. The mattress is a disaster and its frame is silly noisy. The bathroom floor is stained and the shower area is full of mold. The lighting is just sad.
If you go outside, you will see a lovely stand of mature landscaping that likely characterized the earlier status of this place. It is now not maintained. The drinks and food at the each side bar are just awful. The patio area around the bar is highly deteriorating. The seating is sticklike.
When you consider the price to stay here (let’s say $600 a night), it’s just astonishing. We cannot caution you enough: find an alternative.
