Amazing Staff Members!
Pros:

The staff members were amazing, Fritz, Fritzner, Leorfy were really kind and helpful every time I passed by the front entrance and the lobby. Offering extra help with my luggage or a bottle of water when they saw me tired after my morning runs. Thank you!

Mooi hotel, mooie ligging maar geen 400 euro per nacht waard.

De ligging was subliem!

Cons:

De kamers waren vrij verouderd, hoort misschien wel bij de art deco stijl, maar alles hoort dan wel te werken!

De eerste kamer was muf, de beddenlakens waren klam. We hebben de tweede dag naar de receptie geweest, ze hebben ons meteen een andere kamer aangeboden, dus wel mooi opgelost van hen. Het was beter maar nog steeds wel vrij vochtig. In de nieuwe kamer werkte de minibar amper en werkte de helft van de verlichting niet.

Voor 400 euro per nacht verwacht ik vooral meer kwaliteit, kamers mogen oud zijn maar horen wel in orde te zijn!

De eerste nacht was de receptionist ook niet echt vriendelijk, misschien had hij een slechte dag maar hotelgasten zouden dit niet mogen merken.

Pros:

The location was right in front of Miami Beach, it was beautiful and on the rooftop you could see the water. The atmosphere was very peaceful and fancy. The rooms were very large, and it fit all 5 of us. It was very clean. There wasn’t really any noise that was irritating. The service was amazing, especially from Juan. He offered to help us with a lot of things and that was much appreciated. The amenities were good too.

A very disappointing and unpleasant surprise.
Pros:

The hotel's location was satisfactory due to its close proximity to the beach.

Cons:

The room did not meet basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance. There was a strong, unpleasant smell of humidity.
I encountered a cockroach in the room!!!
The faucet was unstable and falling apart.
Mold was present inside the refrigerator.
I also noticed a significant accumulation of dust on top of the TV shelf.
I would have expected a much higher standard from this establishment.
The hotel beach was closed all day despite only rain showers occurring early in the morning.
We had to clean our vehicle because the hotel's valet service left popcorn inside it.
All of these issues are unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
We brought the matter to the hotel's attention. Management was supposed to get back to us, but we are still waiting to hear from them...

Best Hotel on South Beach
Pros:

We enjoyed our time at the Betsy very much. Juan and Fritz were very helpful with our bags and with ensuring our room requests were fulfilled. Such as but not limited to bringing ice buckets to our room and helping us with room changes when the rooms we were staying in had ceiling leaks and AC issues. Jamar also was very helpful at the front desk when dealing with the two room changes we made as a result of those issues. He made it seamless and was helpful in making our experience a positive one. During meals at the LT Restaurant we had tremendous service from Barbara on multiple occasions. During the day, Genevieve was great at the bar as well as the one morning we decided to eat at the tables by the bar instead of in the restaurant. At night, katherine was great at the bar and made our pre and post dinner cocktail experience seamless by remembering our drink orders and checking in with us as our drinks got low. Lastly, Rene did an amazing job at giving us recommendations on restaurants and activities to do during our stay. We will definitely be back

Perfection
Pros:

Jennifer was attentive, knowledgeable, and made some amazing recommendations. My wife had the red snapper, and I had the filet. Filet was cooked perfectly and was seasoned just right. Ordered it medium rare, and it was medium rare. Piano player was great and added to the atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place and to ask for Jennifer!

Fabulous girls weekend!
Pros:

We had a bachelorette weekend (40 year olds) and The Betsy was a perfect hotel and location for our stay. The service was above and beyond, particularly Genevieve! She was at the rooftop pool, the lobby bar and everywhere in between! She was lovely and very attentive to our group.

George at the front desk and Paul were wonderful as well! They helped make this trip so memorable for our large group!

My only concern was how long Betsy was left in the lobby. On Saturday we were in and out frequently throughout the day and she was just left in the corner. As a dog owner myself I was bothered that she was unattended too. I love her presence and the dog friendly-ness of the hotel, it was the only thing that I have to leave feedback on.
