My only complaint is the rooms are a LOOOONG walk from the lobby.

Felt the bedroom area, lobby area and doors needed modernising and could not get 1 lamp to work.

Het ligt aan de hoofdstraat wat leuk is, maar als je aan de straatkant slaapt is het gehorig. Veel herrie op straat ‘s nachts. Wel leuk dat ze om deze reden oordopjes neerleggen

This place has a beautiful mountain view and perfect location.
Location could not be better. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable, and had two adjoining rooms which was convenient for family of 5. Parking was easy.
One small working hot tub for entire hotel.
Die absolute Zentralität des Hotels. Das Restaurant Brazen (im Hotel eingebaut) ist für Brunch und Kaffee sehr empfehlenswert.
Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren nur miteinander am reden. Hotel ist teilweise stark renovierungsbedürftig. Teppich im Zimmer war voller Flecken. 1 Whirlpool war komplett ausser Betrieb. Der funktionierende ist unglaublich alt, abgegebelbt und teils rostig. Möbel und Gartenmöbel auf Dachterrasse stehen teils kaputt herum. Es gäbe noch vieles mehr.
Comfortable hotel in the centre of Banff. Bit tired in places and awkward to find our way around! Loved the complimentary tea and coffee in the morning and the hot tub on the roof, although only one hot tub was in use when we visited. Great location, walkable to loads of restaurants, and staff friendly and welcoming.
We had a wonderful stay at **Mount Royal Hotel** in Banff. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown—with shopping, restaurants, and cafés literally on your doorstep, making it easy to explore the town on foot.
The staff were always warm, welcoming, and helpful. I especially appreciated the complimentary daily tea service on the second floor, which was a lovely touch. The on-site restaurant is very convenient for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, although it is more mid-priced than budget-friendly.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the mountain views were beautiful. We didn't get a chance to use the rooftop hot tub, but it's a fantastic amenity and I'm sure the views from there are spectacular.
A huge bonus is the **free parking**, which is a great perk in downtown Banff. Another convenience is that **Discover Banff Tours** picks guests up directly from the hotel, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. The **Lake Minnewanka Scenic Loop** is only about a **9-minute drive** from the hotel, making it easy to visit one of Banff's most scenic areas.
Overall, I highly recommend Mount Royal Hotel for its outstanding location, friendly staff, convenience, and excellent value. I would happily stay here again.
I told them it was my 40th birthday celebration and they surprised me with a very delicious chocolate from Rocky Mountain House! This sweet touch will stay with me! 💜 the staff also called me at check out because I forgot my dress in the closest. How lovely! And efficient. Location is perfect!😍

Room very long distance from entrance. Wifi did nor work in room. Room small and noisy in the morning
Location was excellent. So close to all the Souvenir stores, close to restaurants, near the us transportation, and right in the heart of all the action. I loved this hotel beuase it was in the heart of downtown Banff. I would recommend thsi place to everyone.
