j ai passé un excellent séjour. L'hôtel est d'une propreté satisfaisante, les chambres ainsi que les espaces communs sont toujours parfaitement entretenus. Le personnel est très accueillant, professionnel et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos besoins avec le sourire. Enfin, la situation géographique est idéale, à proximité des principaux points d'intérêt, ce qui rend les déplacements très pratiques. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation et y reviendrai avec plaisir

Perfect location

I originally booked 2 rooms at this hotel months in advance of our trip. One of the couples cancelled soon after and when I tried to cancel one of the rooms, the hotel management said it was non-refundable. After many emails back and forth pleading for them to cancel one of the rooms, they did not budge, even though they had ample time to resell the room. We ended up paying for an empty room. As with many hotels in Europe, the rooms are extremely small and they do NOT have air conditioning! We traveled there in July and the rooms were very HOT! The location is great for walking to nearby sites and plenty of shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and we were enjoying our 2 night stay UNTIL our room was robbed on the last night while we were out for dinner and cash was stolen. Apparently other rooms on our floor were also robbed. The Front Desk was very apologetic and refunded our rooms. The police were called but we never spoke to them because they came in the middle of the night and we checked out the next day. The hotel indicated that it was an "unknown person", but I wouldn't be surprised if it was an inside job or possibly even another guest. I would NOT recommend this hotel due to their unwillingness to make changes to the original reservation and their obvious lack of security. Pay the extra money to upgrade to a better hotel.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr Hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt sehr gut und man kann von dort aus alles leicht zu Fuß erreichen.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was clean and very well run. The hotel went above and beyond to make our daughters stay for her birthday special.

Affordable, well run, small hotel. Very small rooms and very clean. No AC. Great location, centrally located. Great view. Unfortunately have to open windows at night to remain cool which makes it very noisy due to being close to a hostel and the main drag from the party square of Amsterdam and the Red-light district. People party until late in Amsterdam. The manager, Rick, was knowledgeable and very helpful. For the price, would stay again.

The location within Amsterdam is truly excellent. It’s 10-15 minutes away from many major spots in the city centre. The atmosphere is nice, chill. We booked via Airbnb the same day we checked in and the room was available instantly, which is amazing. Cleanliness is great throughout. I think it’s a great price especially considering the location in the city centre. I had no issues with noise, even though the room faced the canals

We especially appreciated Rick from the reception, he is fun, kind and helpful and held our luggage even after checking out.

Traveled with my husband and adult children to Amsterdam and chose Hotel Nes for its prime location and canal view. We were also pleased they could offer us a family room for 4. The positives were the central location and friendly desk staff. The family room was a two-story suite with ample space for all of us, as advertised. Unfortunately, however, there was no ventilation whatsoever in the suite - no A/C (which we anticipated), but also no functioning windows that opened. The result was an extremely hot and stuffy space, which smelled moldy. And worse yet, there was significant mold evident on the bathroom/shower ceiling. This was highly disappointing, not to mention disgusting to look at and unsafe breathing conditions. Unacceptable level of cleanliness, especially considering the rate we paid.

Room was small, but clean and had everything needed, including a coffee machine with coffee pods. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel is in a central and very nice location. Good value for money.
