Pros:

The location could not have been better for us. The staff were so kind, helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons:

I knew about the stairs, but....the steepness was somewhat scary. Luckily my husband is very strong and was able to carry our luggage.

Great location! Staff were very friendly!

Cons:

Facilities weren’t great. Bathroom flooded every time someone took a shower due to the design. Our room was next to the elevator and every time it was in use it vibrated our walls, we could hear our neighbors having a conversation through the walls as if they were in our room.

Pros:

Newly refurbished room on the 4th floor, very modern and plenty of lighting. Lovely view of canal and central location. 15 minute walk from central station and close to main parts of amsterdam!!

Given a double room when we requested a twin.

Cons:

I did not like that it was not clearly communicated what exactly the parking situation around the hotel was. For someone not quite familiar with Amsterdam and not that experienced as a driver I would have been grateful if there were clear instructions that the hotel in fact didn't have parking.
