Very outdated. Pictures do not at all match reality. The gym is in a small container, old and dirty. Could not use the outdoor pool, but did not look inviting either.

Cons:

Chambre pour 2 mais 1 seule chaise (et un fauteuil) pour manger. Sans doute pour inciter à se rendre au restaurant.
Que des rideaux occultants aux fenêtres, obligation de s'enfermer dès que l'on entre (comme dans presque tous les motels néozélandais d'ailleurs).

Very reasonable price for a transit stay and not too far from airport for Uber/taxi.
Pros:

A number of food and drink places within a couple of blocks. Room was all we needed for a transit stay. Glad to have 24hr reception service.

Cons:

No elevator to our first floor room. Staff offered assistance with bags but ours were light so no problem this time.

Pros:

The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room wasn't very soundproofed, so every time someone came up the stairs at night it woke me up. There were two weird sticky stains on the carpet that I stepped on in bare feet. It felt unpleasant. Ideally those patches would be cleaned or marked to prevent people stepping on them.

Convenient Location and Characterful Bar, but Some Room Design Issues
Pros:

The location was ideal for our purposes. Parking within the site was fine. The bar was quirky and had character. The kitchenette had everything we needed except a dish strainer. The water pressure was good. Toiletries were fine.

Cons:

Room 815 was right by the entrance to the bar and the neon signs. The blinds in the bathroom had to be pulled down when you go to the toilet and have a shower so people on the bus can't look in. There are gap in the door so it wasn't really up to healthy homes. The front entrance to the room was all windows which meant we couldn't leave the curtains open if we wanted any privacy. The Internet in the room was terrible and I was intending to work in there during the day.
