Great for the price
Pros:

We paid $76 for our room which was very inexpensive. Room had a kitchenette, sofa, king bed and bathroom. Hotel also had an outdoor pool. The adjoining room left their TV on all night which wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The breakfast was cereal bars and muffins which was better than nothing, but nothing special. Our bed was comfortable and hotel was clean. Check in was easy.

Close to the convention center—but crawling with roaches, broken laundry room, and nonstop police activity.

Not worth the trouble staying at this hotel, even with the discounts.

Do not stay here. Cockroaches and smoke smell everywhere
Pros:

I walked into the hotel and it reeked of smoke smells and must. The front desk employee told me to checkout the room before checking in as that is her policy and she won’t give refunds (warning number 2). The first room on the 2nd floor reeks of smoke and had live COCKROACHES crawling around. I had nowhere else to sleep so asked for another room instead of leaving. The next room on the first floor reeked of urine and must again. The bed had mold under it and cockroaches in the fridge and freezer. The 3rd room was on the 3rd floor. This one had no obvious sign of cockroach at first but did have a smell and was very very dirty. I asked for an extra blanket for the pullout bed that had nothing on it and was told there is none available. In the middle of the night, the cockroaches came out. The bathroom was disgusting and stained and had dead roaches in the tub. The water ran all night as it wasn’t able to be turned off. The floor had black streaks and stuck to my shoes. The elevator reeks of smoke and must. Overall this is the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had. The kids (age 11) preferred to sleep in the small car overnight versus this hotel.
