Comfortable overnight stay
Pros:

The room and facilities

Cons:

I felt the ambience of as missing in the hotel. The staff were polite but it lacked that visible, real enthusiasm which I’d expect from a hotel of Gisborough Hall reputation.
The cooked breakfast was unfortunately ‘dried out’ when it arrived with me so it had to be returned.

Pros:

The whole place was magnificent. Great bedroom and a wonderful building. The staff were friendly and someone made sure the sun was making it all the more glorious. I prefer rain and wind and thunderbolts of lightning (very very frightening) but the building did look great in the sun.

Cons:

I didn't like not being able to complain about anything.
