very comfortable, although Guisborough is not what it was--
Pros:

Great value one night visit in pet friendly hotel.
Pros:

Lovely hotel, we were staying with our dog for one night, had a very comfortable pet friendly room. Only slight negative is that we weren’t allowed in the main hall with our dog, it would have been nice to at least be able to sit in a room adjacent to the bar.

Cons:

Grounds around the hotel and room. Biggest positive is that they are pet friendly.

A grand birthday weekend
Pros:

From the moment you drive up the lane you are met with grandeur. The grounds are stunning! Once you enter through the heavy door you're transported into classic styles, high ceilings and lots of interest.

After you have got your barings, navigating the winding hallways and galleries you're good!

The room was fantastic and the bed was amazing! Sooooo comfortable and the room was so clean, bright and airey. It was in a great location too for my planned activity for my birthday hike up Roseberry Topping. Returning to our afternoon booked in at the Sukra Spa. That Spa is phemonal! If you book Gisborough Hall, do not skip on going to the spa also! You won't regret it!.

Cons:

Only thing that let down the stay slightly was the time keeping of the restaurant. Waiting 40 mins from order to plate is too long in my books. Pizzas need reviewing, if your teeth aren't great, give the pizza a swerve. My ceaser salad was however lovely and great quality with the chicken cooked to perfection.

We’ve been in the past and loved it but disappointed this time.
Pros:

Room was comfortable.

Cons:

Very noisy at night due to wedding celebrations close to our room on Saturday night. We should have been warned with an option on another room. Rather shabby in places needs refurbishing.
