Lovely experience all round
Pros:

We booked a one night stay at this lovely country hotel as part of a holiday in North Yorkshire. It’s just what a hotel should be….efficient and friendly staff, comfortable rooms with every amenity and great food. Plus it has a terrace that looks out over countryside to enjoy a drink and some pretty gardens. We got a great deal that included breakfast which was was plentiful and tasty, with a request for flat white coffee met with a smile….We had booked a table at the Grill restaurant- food was very good and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed about lack of information about our room
Pros:

The location and breakfast were good.

Cons:

The view from the room was awful. We weren’t even given a courteous call beforehand regarding the view from our room which looked like a builders yard. We were told unapologetically that there were no other available rooms when we asked if we could move. If we had only been informed we would have cancelled the rooms. It ruined our stay to be honest especially as we were visiting good friends for the weekend.

Pros:

Cons:

De kamer had geen airco.

A breath of Yorkshire air.
Pros:

Lovely hotel set in amazing countryside and a warm welcome awaited us very well appointed room and bathroom. The restaurant was nice and light and the food was excellent. Great location for visiting the NYMs. Unfortunately we could only stay one night.
Thank you for looking after us so well.

Excellent staff.
Pros:

4 days spent staying at Gisborough Hall hotel. Good food and a comfortable hotel. Without a doubt though, the stars of the hotel are the staff….. excellent. Well trained, smart, attentive and very friendly from bar staff, waiting on staff in the restaurants both breakfast and dinner. A great stay made even better by the people who work there !!

Lovely building. Staff friendly. Bed annoying
Pros:

Headboard of the bed, banged against the wall when you moved in bed. Woke me up 3 times

Cons:

Headboard of the bed, banged against the wall when you moved in bed, woke me up 3 times during the night when I turned over. Eventually rammed hand towel behind it and the wall . For the summer months could also do with using summer duvets as the ones on the bed must have been 13-15 tog
