The Spa was great, beach was amazing, location of the hotel was very good, value for all inclusive was worth it, restaurants were mostly good, rooms were nice, the great majority of the people working there are amazingly kind, fun, attentive and funny.
Wifi was awful (basically unusable most times); the bed was the absolute worst in terms of comfort (it was completely stiff and gave me back pain); it’s one of the few hotels that doesn’t have a shuttle included in the price and if you want it it costs €70; electricity goes off 6-10 times per day in the entire hotel (during dinner, shows, drinks, in the room, middle of the night, everything); activities planned by the activity team are okay, some are great and some are awful - no in between; the bar closes super early (at 18:00) but they even stop the music and doing drinks at 17:45.
The property was clean, customer service was great but need more English speakers, at times it gets hard to communicate clearly.
Pool closes at 6:00pm that’s very early and needs more entertainment for guests at the resort. Needs room service options for guests that don’t want to go to the buffet for meals.
No wifi in the rooms
The beach is full of marine plants, in this area if you don't have a pool you can't enjoy your vacation. There is only one beach in the entire island where you can stay all day and swim. The resort was nice, staff friendly, food only with local spices, even the pastas and pizza, so if you don't like spices, you will eat fruits.

The pool, the beach, the breakfast and dinner were all excellent. Rooms were good and great value for money. Probably an international 4* as opposed to 5* level but based on the price it was perfect.
Only thing that I didn’t like was trying to order a taxi the hotel had a really material mark up and it was a lot cheaper to negotiate on the beach to get a licensed taxi
I loved the facilities, the location and the pristine beach. My room was clean and the bedding, towels etc were all spotless. They provided everything from grooming utensils (vanity kit, shaving kit and toothbrush & toothpaste) to mosquito repellent. I loved that the receptionist (lovely lady, didn’t get her name) was kind and requested someone to drive me to my room as it was quite far from the reception. The guys from the beach restaurant were also quite lovely and accommodating especially the bartender who also worked at the Africa Bar on my first night :)
Well, what didn’t go wrong during my stay? I would give this place a 10/10 if everything had been perfect. The toilet wasn’t working properly on my last night but it was fixed speedily. I couldn’t get a pool towel for the duration of my stay because ‘the machine was broken’. The phone in my room wasn’t working the entire time and I also couldn’t watch tv because the TV wasn’t working, but it was fixed the next day. Lastly, there was a man in the main restaurant who was the head waiter I presume. That man just seemed so irritated by me as if he had a personal problem with me. He needs to change his attitude towards guests. I wasn’t staying there for free.

On first impression when arriving at reception the only word that you can think of is WOW!
Amazing scenery, beautiful hotel and well maintained landscape. The gardening team do a great job here. All the staff were so friendly and get along like one big family themselves. Musa from the animation team has a great energy and always makes sure you are enjoying your time, loved that he taught us Swahili once we arrived so we could practise this with the staff!
Special thanks also to Paul and Peter who were really friendly and took time to talk to us every day.
There wasn’t anything that we were not happy with at this hotel, honestly everything was amazing.
The property is perfectly located right on the beach of Pwani Michangani. I booked the deluxe room and it was huge with good room amenities. Overall property is in excellent condition with good facilities.
The most commendable is the staff, they went over and above to cater to my needs and even threw me a surprise birthday celebration.
The employees that stood out were Mussa run the activities/entertainment. He even managed to get me to work while on vacation with the morning aquarobics class and even taught me to play Bao game. Then there was Anthony, Geoffrey, & Odette who were gracious hosts and excellent wait staff. Special mention to also Katerina, Pali & Maria who were great bar ladies and kept the cocktails flowing.

They charge Levy of USD5 per night of stay, which was not included, and got told at reception.
The resort is over an hr away from the airport, and 1 trip is about USD50 but its beautiful when you get there.

WiFi not good In bedroom
Although not a 5 star hotel, the installations weren’t bad, and the beach and location on the island are fine. Some staff were very kind and helpful.
The worst part about the hotel is its management, the woman who did not reveal her name (just that she’s Spanish-German), ruined our anniversary. After there was a mistake in the level of board we were given, the woman, instead of sending someone at management level to resolve it or allow us to have half board (one would think a supposed 5 star hotel would do something like that for guests, especially those celebrating important events, especially when the food served is a basic buffet), she sent low level employees with scissors to just try to cut wristbands without explanation. When we went to dinner, no one informed us that we did not, in fact, not have half board, until their servers tried to charge us $70 usd for a plate of pasta (when a seafood platter anywhere on the island costs around $30). I spoke with the woman, who assured me that she would revise everything and speak with me the next day - she never did, and then on my check out day she left and turned off her phone, leaving her employees to try to charge me the $70 that I never agreed to, telling me that the woman takes it out of their paychecks if someone doesn’t pay. It was clear among all employees that this woman is abusive and has her employees terrified. Seeing this abusive situation in addition the problems caused by this woman truly ruined our anniversary. On top of this, at best it’s a 2-3 star hotel, and you can find infinitely better deals for your money pretty much anywhere on the island. If you care about employers treating their employees with basic human dignity, treating guests better than a hostel, and getting an even half-decent return for your money, stay away.
Very well maintained. Visually beautiful. Very helpful and friendly staff. Located right on a breathtaking peaceful beach. Great spa and massages. Good size room.
Bed a little hard. WiFi is not consistent in the apartment we were in. Could literally only get service in one part of the room. They need to have routers that ensure the WiFi strength is the same in every room they provide.
Dinner buffet slightly overpriced.
No iron in room but you can request for items to be collected and ironed.
New hotel, well managed, nice area
The AC wasn’t working in our room, they tried to fix it but couldn’t make it for some reason. Lots of stairs to go up and down
