the refund policy.....I couldnt get my money back in same day due to my spouse didnt feel comfortable staying there......due to their policies,it is what it is.........area looks sketchy......

We had 3 beds and worked our group. It was also close to the beach.

Cons:

The room wasn't the cleanest but, not bad. The area was a little sketchy a lot of people hanging out. The stair rails are wobbly.

My stay in Wilmington was great, when I left the Roach motel.
Pros:

Really nasty and bad place to stay, they had Roaches.

Cost Effective All Around
Pros:

I liked that the rooms had a kitchenette. It was very helpful for us to ball on a budget. We ate breakfast in the room, packed our lunch for the day, and then had a nice dinner. The staff was friendly and the owner went out and bought new pots and pans for the rooms because apparently the stove we had only worked with specific pans. They also have utensils and plates if needed. I brought my own just in case because I wasn't sure before I got there. They provided us with an extra pillow and extra towels upon asking. The hotel is convenient to different gas options, fast food, Walmart, and Wrightsville Beach which was only 15 minutes away.

Cons:

I think like most in the reviews, the water was not as hot as we would have liked it. The temperature was a nice lukewarm (I prefer skin boiling temp) which was a nice touch for the sun-kissed skinned but I would have preferred hotter water.
