I just got back from a family trip to Disneyland yesterday. My husband and I have been staying at The Anaheim hotel for the past several years whenever we visit the parks, so it was a no brainer to book the family (10 of us) there. We were NOT dissapointed. The family loved the hotel; the mid centrury vibe, the pool, the friendliness of the staff, the closness to the parks, "10 out of 10" to quote my mother-in-law. I worked with Christopher to coordinate special surprises for the rooms (one birthday, one first time Disney visitor". He was so helpful and the surprises added an extra special touch to the visit. The staff (from the front desk, to the grounds keepers, are always friendly, and often recognize my husband and I. There is no other place that we want to stay to make our Disney visit amazing.
I stay here for the convienance, pool and grounds. The beds are nice but the bathrooms are marginal. It's worth the concession considering the proximity to d-land and the grace of space the grounds provide free of crowds, etc.
We have been staying here for 20 years. We look forward to staying here every time. The staff is amazing. Candi is the best. Always making sure we have everything need and always there when have a question.
Older hotel no frills but the staff was really friendly and it’s hard to beat the value.
Well maintained property, great location, great pool
Bathroom very outdated and run down with no amenities
Anaheim Hotel was clean and had a neat 1960s retro style to it. The grounds well designed. Rooms were clean and spacious, especially the bathroom. Short walk to Disneyland. Numerous restaurants nearby in walking distance.
It was very close to Disneyland everything was walking distance
There was no Microwave in the rooms had to go to the lobby to use it
I had a feeling this hotel would be a hit months ago, and it truly lived up to my expectations! The decor was so beautiful, the mid-century style was perfect, and the Rat Pack music playing all around the hotel, even at the pool, was just lovely. Where should I even begin to describe how amazing the staff is. Josh at the front desk always greeted me by name, whether we were arriving from or heading to the parks. Leo, the doorman, worked so hard to get our room ready before check-in and checked in on us the next day when he saw us to make sure we were doing well. Mike, the doorman, always called my granddaughter “princess” and always had a smile on his face when we ran into him. . I can’t say enough how much I love this hotel, and we’ll definitely be back.
The rooms i spacious. The bathroom had a two sink vanity which made getting ready a breeze and the bed were so comfortable!
Pizza Press pizza was delicious! The crust was phenomenal, and the room service delivery for breakfast was very speedy and without any issues.
Did I mention the walk from our room to the front gates of Disneyland and California Adventure was only 9min 42secs (I timed it) I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
We were going to Disneyland for an anniversary trip, so no kids. We wanted a reasonable priced hotel with good reviews and within walking distance to the parks and Anaheim hotel fit the bill. We were about a 1 5 minute walk to the park, which was great! The hotel was clean. The lobby was giving a 50's retro cool vibe. Our room was fine...could use a bit of updating, maybe some color on the walls and new carpet, but for as little time as we spent there, it was fine. They were actually remodeling the building across from ours, so maybe they are in the process of doing this. We never heard any construction noise. It would really take so little to make this hotel something special with a few updates. We didn't visit the pool, but it looked clean. They had some oversized "outdoor" toys for adults and kids and the grounds were well kept. I believe pets are also allowed here. We didn't eat at the restaurants either, but I read good reviews on their pizza. My only complaint was that the towels were a poly/ blend, so not as absorbent as cotton and seemed to take longer to dry out. That being said, they gave us PLENTY of towels. We didn't have any bar soap, but asked the housekeeper for one when we saw her. The beds were comfortable. We would definately stay here again as the walking distance to the parks made it so easy for us to walk each afternoon for a quick nap / cool down. Overall, we were very pleased.
Amazing! Yes it’s older but I think it’s retro! It has a 70s lure that I liked. My son and husband loved it. Lots of outdoor space for kiddos. 7-8 min walk to Disney! The staff are friendly… I can’t say enough this place was great
Everything and everyone was great !
Check-in was seamless . Housekeeping and room service were fantastic 👏
Short walk to Disneyland.
Large, double sink area. The room was very conveniently located. Really nice pool and good water temperature, and lots of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and pool towels.
Friendly and helpful staff.
On-site EV chargers.
Can't think of anything.
