Plaza Resort Hotel

Such friendly staff. It was the end of the season, so admittedly there were fewer guests, but they remembered my name and room number and made me feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Really recommend.

The room I was given looked nothing like the pictures. When I spoke to the manager, he was extremely rude. They offered me an upgrade for €40 per night but ended up charging me €50 per night. I contacted the hotel about this issue, but they never replied back to me, not even once. Later, the manager apologized and admitted it was a misunderstanding, promising to process a refund for the upgrade. Unfortunately, I still haven’t received anything back. Very disappointing experience.

Loved our stay at the Plaza Resort Hotel! The pool was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and clean and the service was excellent. Dinner at The Blue Restaurant was superb! The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our dinner memorable.

The property was beautiful, but felt like it hadn't had an upgrade in over 30 years. It had a very old feel but was a beautiful property. Rooms were run down, and felt very old. Old TV, no international plugs...very old feel. Customer service was horrible. I asked for several things and got very bad response and people were not interested in helping whatsoever. 1 example...I walked to an outdoor bar to get some ice. They told me NO and told me to call room service! Very disappointed

Excellent hotel

Very dated un renovated property. The star rating should reflect the actual experience of the stay and its a 3 star level hotel

This property is not a 5 star; the AC units in the room did not work well, no tea/coffee pot and supplies are in the rooms; the property needs a paint job outside; unless you only want to sit poolside or on the beach; the property is one hr away from the city and sight seeing therefore you spend a LOT on taxis. Food at the hotel is very overpriced; a burger is E.U. 25, 14 outside. A bottle of water is 140 there and 40 cents outside! Should be provided free. Will not stay there again

Always a great place to return to, where you have the best of both worlds )swimming pool and beach) on your door step

It was perfect just only we wait every day till after noon to clean our room but the staffs was very friendly and always smiling and make our stay very comfortable

Very near to Athens city centre and to Athens Airport

Nice hotel, spacious rooms, decent breakfast.

Was good to get away from Athens and thaw out.

Good restaurants walking distance.

The location of the hotel is wonderful by a large bay of sandy beach with clear water where everyone can enjoy swimming.
The hotel layout is extremely nice.
The sea view rooms enjoy the vast greenery in front of them before reaching the swimming pool and then the beach.
The staff are amazing; they are welcoming polite and helpful and enthusiastic.They all treated us very nicely.
Unfortunately the hotel needs renovation the fact that few daily use things can be upsetting such as difficulty in opening the sliding doors of the 2 rooms we occupied on the ground floor level.the walls need painting.the bathtub were obstructed.the shower battery was shaky.These couch’s folding beds were in very poor condition and hazardous for children (exposed metal frame )
The safe deposit boxes were not functioning. In spite of various reminders they were not repaired.
The chairs and the sun beds outside the rooms were never cleaned.
The umbrellas and the sun-beds by the beach were in poor condition; they lack maintenance.
These are not acceptable in a 5stars hotel.
Finally the food is medium ; there is no variety; few items of the menu we ordered were in shortage or missing .no menu for vegans at all especially at breakfast such as yogurt and cheese.
The room charges are not value for money.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Its a perfect destination to relax. The beach was so clean, not crowded.

Lovely property, nice beach and great pool area, staff were exceptional, helpful and really nice. Great breakfast and a few nice tavernas nearby.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Right on the beach and the pool beside it. Our room was beautiful too. Good size and nice balcony overlooking the property and view of the Aegean.

The only reason why I did not give this property an excellent rating is our room’s air conditioning was not working the first night we were there and the subsequent actions of the management. When we checked in we dropped our stuff in the room and headed straight to the beach/pool. When we came back into our room several hours later we noticed the room was warm and discovered the AC was off. We turned it on then headed out for dinner. By the time we got back to our rooms it was midnight and the room was still very warm so we came to the realization the AC wasn’t working. We did not sleep well at all. We left the patio door open but the bright light on the balcony could not be turned off and the birds started singing at 5:00am.

The next morning I asked the front desk to fix the AC or find us another room. The AC was eventually fixed but I asked the manager working for some sort of compensation since we had such a terrible night. The manager said because I did not complain the day before, he was unwilling to do anything. I pressed and they gave us two complimentary drinks in their bar. We paid for a premium room and received below standard service so I cannot give an excellent rating.

Another couple travelling with us did not have any issues with their AC. If anything the room was too cold.
