All in all it was comfortable, Clean and very good price.
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to find, clean compact room for an overnight stay.
Would recommend to other for an overnight.

Cons:

There was nothing of note to report...all was VERY GOOD

Dismal, down at heel and possibly unsafe
Pros:

Down at heel in every way, the hotel is badly in need of refurbishment with peeling paper on the walls, a warped bathroom door which would not shut, non functional swimming pool (despite huge sign outside the hotel advertising this amenity) many rooms look out on a noisy railway and the others onto the main road or a truck park with dumpster diving going on. The electrical system is possibly unsafe as the trip had to be reset for the heating/air con to work. Question: why had it tripped? Something is shorting out…not safe!

I wouldn’t choose to stay at this location in Cranbrook ever again nor recommend it.
Pros:

There wasn’t any breakfast included. But a Denny’s next door.

Cons:

The train ran past my room all night ! Hard to get any sleep.

The stay was very pleasant
Pros:

this location was easy to get to. Our room was very nice, neat clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Cons:

The pool was out of order which was a dissapointment. The trains coming thru were a bit loud however this is not to the fault of the hotel or the staff I just know for next time to make sure our room is in the front half of the hotel.

Was ok. Would rather a more quiet room for better sleep

Great location and friendly staff

Cons:

The door doesn’t close properly unless slammed shut. Very disruptive to other guest that are trying to sleep. Loud talking cleaning staff on the hallways in the early morning hours

Mice in the room !

The management has to take this seriously do necessary cleaning methods to keep mice away from the rooms.

We have stayed several times at this same hotel but we’ve decided not to come back.
Pros:

There wasn’t breakfast with the room. We ate at Denny’s which is attached and it was terrible.
The coffee was old and stale and we waited 16 min to get our order taken and another 15 for it to arrive. It was only toast, it was cold and hard.

Cons:

We couldn’t figure out how to work the tv and the woman at the front desk didn’t know how to do it either. She was very nice and tried to help but couldn’t figure it out.
