Close to everything downtown
Stayed in room 701 in January, 2 adults, celebrating a special occasion. 1 king bed. Room was clean and well-appointed but very tight - just enough space to walk around the bed. Bathroom was also tight - very little counter space/vanity around the sink and limited options for hanging towels or toiletry kits. However, staff were friendly; they promptly brought us an extra chair upon request so we could both sit at the desk to eat.
We stayed here about 6 years ago and the room was huge, so the tight quarters felt disappointing.
Ordered room service from the Bistro. Dinner and breakfast food were both delicious, and pretty good value. However, when dinner arrived it was not clear that a service charge (gratuity) had already been applied to the bill, so I ended up double tipping - server didn’t mention. I only realized this when breakfast arrived as that server communicated the tip was included. We also ordered an appy later in the evening, however after an hour wait it became clear the kitchen had lost our order. When I called to inquire, they remembered my order but sounded surprised that it had not been delivered. They offered to “remake it, so that it’s fresh”. After years of working in restaurants, I know that’s code for we forgot/lost your order. They did the right thing by quickly making it, delivering it and comping the order but next time, honesty/directness would be appreciated.
This place was alright but the room size was truly a disappointment.
It was why over priced for what you get.
Why you feel everything you sell has to be why over priced. Could make more money if you where close too the real price. Walked two blocks and the price is half the price of you.
Amazing views and super accommodating. We needed and early check in and it was no issue.
Na
This courtyard is ok for what it is.. Its an old building that has been taken over so the options are limited. The location is good, the views are good, the rooms are very clean and staff is nice. The parking situation is not very good at all and it wasn't noted when I was booking the hotel. $45 to park in public or $45 for valet and wait 15 mins for a car when you want it. I would stay again but definitely not with a vehicle.
位置不错,风景很好。
早餐人比较多,需要较长时间等位。
Hotel in the downtown area close to the convention centre.
It is a typical Courtyard/Marriott property.
I liked the location because it’s in the outskirts of downtown which makes it less busy than other properties around it.
Clean and modern, it has all you need, including a good restaurant with a decent breakfast buffet.
The rooms are just the right size with expected amenities. I was lucky to get a room overlooking the river and the view was just spectacular. Bed and pillows were great.
Bathroom was kind of small, with the door closing against the sink (?)
Two issues: temperature was difficult to maintain. After fiddling with the thermostat, I decided to just turn it off.
Also, as a gold member I am used to have free water bottle (like $2 each, maybe?) Not here: you are charged $5 per bottle. Not cool.
Overall, I would return.
Everything
Good
View of the river valley
!
They are totally in kahoots with the private parking company right out front. I was ask where I had parked. I said the one right out front. I was not was not asked for my plate number. I received a ticket, despite paying the max daily rate of 45 dollars and because I hadn’t informed the desk my plate number, I had to pay an additional 45 dollars. I had also booked a room for two people. It showed on my booking that I had “free breakfast”. When I checked in, I only received one “free breakfast” voucher, that is only redeemable for one person. Scam.
