Sijainti oli loistava
Näkymä aamupalalla suoraan Invernesin linnaa kohti
Höyrysauna pitkien vaelluspäivien jälkeen oli ihanan rentouttava
Ruoka alacarte listalta yllätti myös positiivisesti
Ikä alkaa näkyä hotellissa
Lattia narisee kävellessä
Vessan koko kookkaammalle ihmiselle aika napakka
Suihku oli ehkä reissuni vinkein
Kesti tovi tajuta miten sitä käytetään
Minua nämä eivät häirinneet, mutta huomio muille tulijoille
The location was great, the staff were lovely.
The room itself felt more like an average roadside motel than a hotel stay. Both the room and the wider facilities were noticeably dated, giving the whole property a tired, slightly claustrophobic atmosphere. The furnishings, carpets, and general décor all seemed well past their prime, and it was hard to ignore how worn everything felt. The bed and pillows were particularly uncomfortable, firm to the point of feeling hard, and clearly due for replacement. While the space was clean, the overall experience didn’t match the standard or comfort level I expected or paid for.
Very nice, great location, beautiful view of the river and castle.
Very well kept and newly decorated
Price of food on menu
Proximity to main areas of interest and good restaurants
Breakfast not served early enough for start of Etape bike event.
Location. On site parking and sparkling clean indoor pool.
Nothing
Charming full service hotel right on the River Ness. Great place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and common areas were clean and well appointed. The breakfast room was lovely and the service and offerings were outstanding. One thing I would recommend is notifying staff when you book if you have mobility issues. We stayed on the top floor of a wing of the hotel that did not have an elevator. We had no problems but it might be a challenge for some. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this location if you are staying in Inverness.
The hotel staff are excellent and the rooms are typical for Scottish hotels. Do not expect air conditioning! Breakfast was robust and healthy. Receptionist Fiona was a delight. Located centrally and with a few minutes walk to Inverness Castle.
Handy, clean, pool/spa/sauna (rare) lovely, as was bar/restaurant area and the room.
The view is only good if you pay more to be on the frontage. Otherwise, get ready for bricks, bins, neighbouring properties and car park.
Location was fantastic. The view of the castles is wonderful.
Could’ve been a little bit more friendly.
Nice view from the room, lounge/ bar area had friendly staff
Breakfast was poor, toast arrives before you have a chance to get your food. Staff were poorly trained, ie coffee machine broke and instead of putting a note on the machine they kept letting people try the machine and then did not offer to get them a coffee. Food item signs out and when you asked they then say `oh no we don`t have that, sorry` and leave the sign out.
Spa staff need a complete overhaul, need training on customer service. More treatment availability for guests would be beneficial.
The view from the bar and location were great.
The rooms were extremely small , and for almost 400 pound it gave basic ammenities, only soap and shampoo, no body lotion, no shower cap no extea treats that you'd expect for 5 star. The lift was barely working, with a warning to avoid if possible, no offer of help with bags, very poor service.
Breakfast was horrid, like a cafeteria everyone squashed in, no room between tables , with barely editable food and super noisey. Eggs were like rubber, hash browns hard as wood, coffee undrinkable and dont ask about the bacon , I paid for a buffet and had half a slice if toast, a small yogurt pot and a glass of water.
Location
Location was great. There was a giant breakfast buffet’s. Yes several tables full of food selections.
The room was hot! And humid. But I think we were just over the pool. We didn’t know how to open the window. And do our first night was so uncomfortable and stuffy. Luckily another guest told us about opening the window.
