Pros:

Great location. Loved the fireplace in the entryway.

Cons:

The sink didn’t drain properly and I had to keep putting my fingers in the dirty water to get it to drain. The pillows were so paper thin we couldn’t sleep. The noise from all the rooms around us was loud and went on until 3:30am (Saturday night) and the smell of chlorine as soon as you open the doors to the walkway to the rooms was sooo overpowering. Parking was an issue. We had to park up the street in a church parking lot. Hostess at breakfast had a bit of an air of annoyance about her when she checked us in.

Wonderful hotel which i would recommend and intend to stay at again
Pros:

Staff were without exception helpful, friendly and courteous. There was a lovely calm and relaxed feel to the place. The cleanliness everywhere was excellent. Breakfast choice was lovely. The views over to the river and castle were wonderful. The spa/pool was a bonus

Cons:

The lack of a working lift and not being able to park in the car park which was usually full.

Excellent location and very comfortable stay
Pros:

Wonderful.view of the castle from our room, which was a good size. Buffet breakfast was a good spread with both cooked and continental options. Nice pool and spa area.

Cons:

Our room wasn't in the main hotel building, which was generally fine but we were able to connect to the wifi, but only had internet access when inside the main building, not in our room.

Good value for money and I would use again in the future
Pros:

Overall the Hotel was very nice and good value for money.

Only slight issue was the breakfast could have been a bit hotter and the car park was small and could have been an issue if you arrived late in the day for a space.

Cons:

Everything and the SPA facilities were very nice..
