Loved the swimming pool,, didn't like our room, due to it needing alot of repairs, the cleaning girl was not the best, that's why no tip in our room for her. found the breakfast staff snotty and the young girl was miserable. Other then that, we did like our stay there.
Other than the roaches and a creepy bed, everything was fine.
Staff was alright but didn't get to try the food everything was in a convenient spot the room was overall clean however, there could be a few things taht should have been looked at
I stay 6 or 7 hours and just felt yuck about the place. Poor water pressure after a30 something hour flight just did do it

We had a problem with the keypad not working, they say they would fix it - to just give them a few hours. We said no problem, went out for a bit, came back and it was still not fixed. Keep in mind, our stuff is stuck inside and we haven’t been able to access it for most of the day. Finally, they were able to get someone there to finangle the door open so we could get our stuff. Mostly disappointed by false promises and we had to ask to be moved to a new room - they didn’t offer. Overall, not a pleasant experience, the keypad issue being just one of the few things, probably won’t be back.
Dirty room, full of dust, hair, and late night visitors (roaches).
The hotel froze $100 on my account as a deposit, but no one explained it clearly at check-in. I was later told it has to be refunded through Expedia, yet nobody gives clear instructions on how to get my money back. This lack of transparency is very frustrating — travelers should be aware before booking.
I found a dead cockroach on the floor that remained there for two days. Communication was difficult as the housekeeper spoke only Spanish, and the receptionist with red hair was harsh, making us feel unwelcome.
The “breakfast” was almost non-existent — nothing like what was advertised. What made things even worse was that every morning there was a man sitting in the kitchen area next to the reception, playing loud music on his radio. His unkempt appearance, with visibly swollen feet and poor hygiene, made the dining area feel unsanitary and very uncomfortable.
On the positive side, the air conditioning in the room worked well, and when I gave my documents to the front desk, they were returned safely.

The main floor bathrooms were out of service but they let us use them. Neither of the toilets flushed and they both had fecal matter and urine gathering. A good portion of the building was damaged such as the flooring coming up and the doors not working properly. Example, in most hotels you can use your room card to unlock the side entrances, these doors were supposed to be that way but were broken and open 24/7.
Our room was clean, and it served it’s purpose but the hotel itself needs some serious TLC..
BEWARE: There is a $100 hold for damages here. They said it’s refunded after the stay but we have yet to confirm just be prepared.
There was a cockroach in my son's room. AC was very very noising, everything looks oldy, like a 90's hotel. Breakfast was very simple, I don't I'll be there in the future in Garnet Inn & Suites
