Nice hotel, but staff not accommodating

Arranged early check in before arrival, but at the hotel refused early check in had to store our luggage all day as we had plans for the day

Cost me more to park the car than to rent the car!
Pros:

It’s a really good location, and it’s a nice Marriott. We upgraded to the M Club, so it was nice to have

Cons:

My son just started at Vanderbilt. We will probably come to Nashville three or four times a year, for parents weekend for football games and other activities. For at least the next four years but I will probably never ever stay at this Marriott again. Parking cost me $61.46 per night. in Nashville?. Almost twice what some of the other Hotels charge for parking. When I asked the Front Desk why it was so much, they said it’s not our fault we outsourced the Parking to a third-party. Oh. Then I guess it is not Marriott’s fault. We are titanium Members at Marriott and Bonvoy. But will probably not stay at this property again just on principle.

Awesome stay!
Pros:

Our stay at the Marriott Vanderbilt was awesome. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The guys who worked Valet (Travis and Rylan) were so friendly and had great manners. We will stay here again!!
