Killarney Royal Townhouse

the hotel was beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly. it was my nieces birthday and as soon as we walked in the receptionist knew who she was and wished her a happy birthday! We were also greeted with a lovely welcome whiskey! Our rooms were so spacious and clean, and you couldn't beat the location.

Absolutely a wonderful experience. The location is perfect but exceeds the location is the staff. Collen and Yiana in reception, John in the lobby and Joanne in the dining area are of Exceptional Hospitality. Highly recommended.

My parents recently stayed at the Royal Hotel Killarney to celebrate a birthday and Mother’s Day, and they had such a wonderful experience. From the moment they checked in, they were warmly welcomed with a lovely whiskey gift, which was a really thoughtful touch.
They stayed in Room 307, which featured a stunning king-sized four-poster bed—absolutely beautiful and made their stay feel extra special. The hotel went above and beyond by leaving cards and sweet treats in the room for my mum, which meant so much to her.
They also couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the breakfast was, and how kind and attentive all the staff were throughout their stay.
Thank you so much for taking such great care of my parents—it truly made their celebration memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and special place to stay.

Loved our stay here! We had a very warm welcome from lovely John at the front door. The room was spacious and tidy, and the bathroom was large and super clean. Breakfast was fantastic - Joanna organised special gluten free bread and baked goods and made sure we were well fed for the day ahead. Wish we had spent longer here.

This was a beautiful experience. I had some booking quires which were all well handled prior to arrival, which put me at ease as I had a long drive down and arriving late.
The Night Porter, Romeo, was most impressive given the after midnight arrival.
My check in was seamless with just enough compassionate enquiry.

We stayed two nights, would recommend the 2nd night. We had a beautiful Townhouse Suite with beautiful sunlight each morning.

Breakfast both mornings to the room was delicious, punctual and delivered with kindness.

It was the genuine care of the team there on each interaction that stood out to me along with the various little touches that made the stay memorable.

Would recommend for anyone visiting Kerry who is looking for that bit of elegance.

Look forward to staying again soon.

We loved our return visit to The Royal Hotel in Killarney. Perfectly situated in the centre of town, close to all shops, restaurants pubs and clubs. The Junior Suite is stunning, and the kind staff left a beautiful birthday treat and card for my husband ❤️. Special mention to porter John, who was so helpful and attentive. We enjoyed fabulous food and cocktails. All the staff are so on point, welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful hotel with an elegant boutique feeling. Staff were outstanding especially breakfast staff and John the concierge.
Wonderful relaxed feeling throughout the hotel and definitely a hotel worth another visit.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Killarney royal. The hotel has been refurbished and our room was lovely. The management and staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was really good. Electric car charging and parking is provided free of charge in the Great southern across the road. Overall a really nice hotel perfectly located for a visit to Killarney. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

A small and friendly hotel with everything you need. Central to everything. A lucky choice from the blue book. We booked a twin room but to our surprise the beds were comfortable mini doubles. We were offered a welcome drink and a surprise gift on check out. The evening meal was delicious and a hearty tasty breakfast too. There was nothing to find fault with. We will definitely return there.

I had a wonderful lunch at Fig in The Killarney Royal Townhouse,today with my friends ,the food was absolutely delicious ,I had the fish cakes ,my friends had delicious Toasted Special , big portions & gorgeous fresh food , the service was excellent too ,all staff very pleasant & attentive .It's 12 out of 10 from the 3 of us.
We will be back .

We have stayed here many times and always find ourselves returning,whether it’s for the friendly staff, great location, sumptuous breakfast or the lovely coziness of the place… couldn’t recommend enough…

I stayed in the Killarney Royal Townhouse for a midweek break in January with my husband. We had a lovely time, our room was beautiful, the food fabulous and the location is excellent.
The service was second to none with friendly helpful staff. A special thank you to Nuala and Joanne.

Stayed here for birthday celebration and had a fantastic stay .Met John at the door going in and he is a fountain of knowledge he seem to know everyone by name in the hotel.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the general manager Pat has a great team working with him.Really looking forward to our next stay here when we go back to Killarney. Excellent location and great value.

Beautiful hotel, right in the heart of Killarney. 2 min walk from the train station. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Joann and John were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
