Great location, nice staff
Our specific room has an old model AC which is quite noisy
Everything. Close to beach. Clean. Organized. Polite staff. All good!
The apartment was clean and spacious for 2 people. Our unit on the 3rd floor had partial views of the ocean and it was great to watch the sunsets on the balcony.
Staff was friendly and helpful. We left behind our house keys by mistake, and staff was kind enough to find them and mail them back to us.
The kitchen could be better equipped. We were 8 family members renting 3 separate units to celebrate the holiday season together. But when we cooked suppers and ate together, we were missing some kitchen supplies and dining room furniture for 8. It is unfortunate that the small round dining room table cannot be extended.

shower head has little pressure
Leaving!
I arrived on the afternoon of 23/12 to be told the apartment I had booked back in October and paid for in full, was no longer available until 29th December due to plumbing problems. I was "dumped" into a one-bedroom hotel room with no cooking facilities, plates, cutlery, or cups. Given the high season, I could not find any alternative accommodation, so I had no option but to stay in this room. The room had an adjoining door "locked" where a family with young children were staying. They were understandably noisy and meant staying in a very uncomfortable experience. People were coming and going all day and night, banging their front doors without any concern for anyone in the complex. The room was dark and dirty, with mould on the curtains everywhere. Even when my booked accommodation was "ready" I had to chase to be allowed in to it, check-out time is 11am, and check-in is 4pm. Despite numerous phone calls to reception, I ended up having to go physically to them at 4;30 and ask why I had not been contacted. They then made a phone call and mysteriously, I could check in and move. No attempt to even offer assistance to move. The manager on duty on the night of the 23rd "gaslighted" me, saying "she should actually be out doing her Christmas shopping" not dealing with the plumbing issues. I'm sorry, but this is not acceptable customer service at all. When I finally did move the condo I had booked was fine, apart from being directly near the swimming pool where families these days appear to think it is fine to have children screaming up until 10 pm at night! There was a $ refund given for the nights I was forced to stay in the hotel accommodation, this did not make up for the fact I could not cook in my room, which I had planned on doing for Christmas day, trying to find somewhere to eat on Christmas day proved very expensive and very poor quality.

Kihei was a great location, central to all is Maui. Great access to everything you need and was not crowded compared to the resorts in Wailea or the Northwest island.
Perfect location. You can reach several beaches by walking. Shopping centers, ABC, restaurants, and cafes are within a 10-minute walking distance. Nice staff, comfortable and clean room with strong Wi-Fi. Singing birds and a green view in front of the window. No daily cleaning service or breakfast. It is not a hotel; it's more like an Airbnb. If you don't expect hotel services, you will be satisfied and happy. We were.
Walls are not soundproof. You can hear your neighbor.
Strandnähe, funktionale Küche, Strandtücher, Strandstühle
Big spacious rooms, nicely equipped kitchen with ceramic cooktop, everything clean, nicely decorated, with ocean view.
Property close to nice sandy beach.
Nights were quite (no parties, etc...).
Speed bumps on access roads and in garage were huge...
Access to beach and eateries
Pests
Swimming pools and garden. Quiet
Room 204P badly needed renovation with smelly old carpets, an outdated bathroom., and air con that needed servicing. Apart from the mould smell in the rooms, we had to also tolerate cigarette smoke wafting from neighbouring rooms which made the situation almost intolerable. Even though we complained to the neighbour several times , they continued to smoke. We reported it to security, but nothing was done. Kitchen could have been better equipped with stainless steel pots and pans instead of cheap cookware. There was no cutting board and lacked basic cooking spices...We were promised garden views when booking, yet the balcony overlooked the car park. The apartment was serviced only once during the seven days and was over-priced. I would rate it as 2 star accomodation, with four star prices.
