We had a great stay

Love this place. Unit was clean and painted, had new furniture. But the “refurbishment” of the bathroom was poorly done. There were paint splatters on the floor and the refinished bathtub was cracked and peeling already.

Very clean room great staff

The unit itself was pretty nice and the pool and spa were very nice. The only thing that could have been better was our bathtub. It had been painted and the paint was peeling and just not great for taking a bath in. Staff was very nice and helpful. Did enjoy our time there.

We have stayed here several years and plan to come back again.

Great location

The ladies at the front desk we so sweet and knowledgeable. It was just what we needed for a weekend get away.

Great spot. The place was just as described. Balcony right on the beach. Fantastic stay!

Nice people

Greatb stay right on the beach. Everything was very clean. Comfortable rooms eith kitchen with full size appliances. Frig also had ice maker. Only small complaints were issued a ground floor room. Asked if could get upper floor with balcony. Was denied. Appeared to be rooms available during our stay. Luckily was not to busy so not a real problem. Also confronted upon going to room at check in about Listening to a presentation about the time share. Declined but person was not happy and said "how does that help me". Know everyone has a job to do but did not appreciate how he responded. Was not confronted after that. Over all great place to stay and would definitely stay again

We will be coming back to this property in the future.

Thorough honest review. Great place and value. Our unit, seemed to be recently updated, with the exception of the tub. Beautiful cabinets in the kitchen, higher end appliances, new sleeper sofa. This unit has a designated bedroom. Lots of storage space which includes a closet and dresser. A small tv in the bedroom, but suits the need. Decent sized balcony with 2 chairs and a table overlooking the Atlantic. Staff was very friendly. Property has gas grills, which is a nice touch if traveling with a family. Fully stocked kitchen, as well. Pool is quite small for the number of units, but well kept. They also have shuffle board, corn hole, ping pong, fire pit and a hammock on the multiple sun decks. Parking is underground, which is nice to avoid seaspray on your vehicle, if staying for any length of time. PLENTY of luggage carts, which I find so many places I stay at lack. AND...they are in great condition. They are located where you park. I like that you need a key to come up from the beach, to avoid non-guests, from coming in from the beach to use the pool etc. Tiny negatives, our tub didn't match the rest of the updated unit. Very old and battered. Maybe it's next on the update list. But, the hot water was amazing!! Down in the lobby, they have a basket with some snacks to purchase. My husband and I went down for a late night snack, but it was after hours and found out they only took cash and they don't have an ATM. Overall, great stay. Will return.

Very clean and nice! If you want a chair by the pool claim it early in the morning as they go fast and aren’t as many!

Despite having a no pet policy there was a very distinct cat urine smell in the bedroom of our rental. We purchased glade scent diffusers to mask the odors. The bedroom is at the entrance of the unit and you can hear everyone coming off the elevator and entering their condos. The bright side of our stay was a truly gorgeous view from the living room area and balcony. Location is good, the pool deck and outdoor area is nice and clean. Beach ramp is brand new.

We have stayed in Ormond Beach many times but this was our first time at Tropic Sun Towers. We will definitely stay again. The unit was clean and comfortable. It was stocked with everything you would need. We ate in for some meals and had all the kitchen utensils needed. The balcony over looking the pool and ocean was lovely. The pool and deck area had plenty of chairs. What set this apart from other places I e stayed was the underground parking. I never had to look for a spot or squeeze into a spot that made me worry about my car getting damaged. I also appreciated that my car was not in the blazing hot sun. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

The property could really use some updating, but it was, over all, clean and comfortable The people were very nice.
