Westgate Blue Tree Resort in Lake Buena Vista

It was a last-minute booking after our connecting flight was cancelled and we decided to go to Orlando instead. We arrived around midnight and the lady at the front desk checked us in very quickly, which we really appreciated after a long travel day.

We booked a villa for 4 people and it was surprisingly big: two bedrooms, three beds, a sofa bed, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and everything was very clean. The property is quiet and comfortable.

We didn’t use the amenities because we were out all day, but they do have a pool and jacuzzi, and the location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to stores and restaurants and about a 10–15 minute drive to Disney.

Overall, amazing value for such a great place.

Very nice stay, westgate upgraded us to a two bedroom with two bath room (condo). Wish there was an elevator as we were on the third floor but other than that it was great. Be prepared for the time share spiel though.

This is our second time staying at blue tree, resort is lovely, staff are brilliant, we had a fault with the tumble dryer in our room and by the end of the day we had a new one in our room. Pools lovely to come home too after a long day at the parks, perfectly located aswell to all the parks
Will be looking to stay here again when we go back

I like that the property is so close to Disney without crazy Disney prices. Great place to stay

It was our second time to this resort and we love it! Only a short drive from the busy International Drive but nice and quiet. A shuttle is provided for parks and souvenir and food shops are right round the corner.
It has been updated and has new floors and furniture since we last went and is a fantastic place to stay. Staff are always helpful and friendly.
We didn't get time for the pools with park visits, but they are very inviting.
Our son stayed in a bigger villa for 6 people and it was very clean with ample space to relax.

The resort carries an excessively high rating. Rooms smells like cigarettes, which is because people smoke in the rooms. The patios have ashtrays. That would be enough to make it unpleasant for non-smokers. The resort is old and very tired. Early 70’s like feel without a fresh retro vibe.

The hotel grounds were a bit disappointing, especially the pool area. It was not a lively experience. There is no restaurant or bar at the pool.

Property had all you need to enjoy even if Disney isn’t in the plans. Would stay again.

Originally got a one bedroom villa and got a free upgrade to a two bedroom which was perfect. The villa was super clean, easy access, washer/dryer, kitchen fully stored with pots, pans, utensils, cups, and plates. They had enough towels for our entire stay, and even had beach towels as well. They had everything that you needed. I didn’t need to call the front desk for anything my entire stay. I loved that place and the size of the villa was perfect for the two of us and maybe more. Definitely will come back if I’m ever back in Orlando.

Only stayed one night, but would have stayed more! Very nice room, friendly staff! Had everything we needed in a hotel room.
Close to plenty of places to eat etc.

The staff was welcoming and explained everything needed to know and was upfront with the rules/fees.
There was enough space for kids to play playground different pools and have balcony

The property was clean and well maintained. Our only issues was the pool being shut down for weather concerns well over 3 hours before the weather on site began to deteriorate. The rooms could also use better cable channels. We had to use our yahoo tv login to have access more basic cable channels.
