Hilton Vacation Club Grande Villas Orlando

This was an excellent value. I enjoyed having a full kitchen, good size bedroom and storage, and a very large bathroom with both a large tub and shower. The place was very clean.

The location was ideal for all the activities, shopping and dining that we love. The price could be a bit better and the resort fees I think are a bit excessive

Location

Location was convenient to shopping and various attractions, and the property itself has multiple activities, pools and more on-site. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Atmosphere was pleasant. Seemed like mostly families and older couples.
Our room, the King Bed suite, was fairly spacious but a little interesting. It had a large bathroom with separate tub and shower and two sinks and then a smaller room off of that room that had the toilet. That was much more generous than a typical hotel room. But the eat-in-kitchen also contains the sofa (which has a pull-out bed), so that's a somewhat odd combination. And that sofa is near the door, not "out of the way". And there is no desk at all, so the kitchen table would have to be your desk.
Given the amenities on-property (for which there is a nightly resort fee) and the room size, this is a good value.
Room was clean and comfortable.
From the kitchen table, I could hear some talking from the next door unit (which has an adjoining door right there, if that is of interest for families, etc.) We also heard some noise from outside the unit at various times (not late at night or early morning though).
I would go back, but would prefer a desk in the room.

Booked through Armed Forces Vacation Club. Chose based mainly on reviews and Hilton name. Listed as "One bedroom with pullout."
Photos on the HVC website were such that trying to make an accurate assessment of true size was difficult.
Unit is indeed one bedroom and there is a pullout sleeper, but it is MUCH smaller than I'd anticipated. The King bed pretty much fills the bedroom - there's a couple of feet around the bed.
The "living area" is also small. (The bath area is very spacious and nice.)
We attended a HVC pitch at a nearby HVC as part of a promotion pitch and were given a tour of their "one bedroom with pullout" and it was night and day! That unit was easily twice the size and much more richly appointed - exactly what you'd expect associated with the Hilton name.
This (Grand Ville) should have a warning to those expecting something spacious and grand.

At first when myself and husband arrived to our booked one bedroom we were disappointed in the small size and the tiny porch with only room for two chairs side by side and no room for a table as well as no dishwashers in one bedroom units. The office did accommodate my wishes for a high floor room overlooking the pool. Entire complex goes to five floors. There is a big difference between one and two bedroom units. Two bedrooms have large full kitchens and good size porches.
The positives were many at this resort; friendly wonderful staff through-out, two large pools and a very large hot-tub. One pool is quiet and the other promotes daily games for socialization. The complex has a nice mini restaurant and shopping store. The mini golf is very fun. We do not have children and were a bit concerned going to a family resort but we found many places to sit that were quiet without screaming children. There are fun firepits on premises and gas cooking grills. We were not pressured by the timeshare associates. There is a resort fee of $157.00 per week. This includes free laundry machines in each building. If you are not planning to visit the theme parks and are looking to just get sun and eat out there are plenty of walking distance restaurants and shops and it would not be necessary to have a rental car. Winn-Dixie grocery is right around the corner and we took an empty roller suitcase and brought it to fill with all groceries, etc that we needed for a week stay.

From checking in , also staying extra day everything was fantastic, planning another trip with my kids next and will be going there.
