Nice and confortable hotel, very good food at the restaurants
Las vistas desde el hotel son increíbles
El desayuno muy rico
El personal fue muy amable
Currently the Marriott is undergoing some renovations. The pool is closed and there is work being undertaken on site also spoiling one of the big selling points, the view.
The rooms are very good with an excellent shower. Beds were comfortable and there was a fridge, kettle, robe, slippers and iron. The TV had several English speaking channels.
Staff were very good in the bar and at the restaurant . Breakfast was good. It’s up the hill out of town and I imagine usually worth it for the views.
We had a terrible experience at the Petra Marriott Hotel.
We had booked two Petra Valley View Higher Floor King Size Rooms which had premium rates.
On arrival the receptionist assigned one room which was as per our booking but the second room was a smaller twin room and he casually told us that no King Room was available even though we had booked and paid for the same.
I am a Marriott Gold Club member and was shocked by the way the reception staff and Duty Manager treated us.
Being a tall person I could see over the computer monitor that the screen showed most of the rooms were green meaning they were ready but not occupied.
Realising that I had caught their lie the Duty Manager threatened to call the police and have us evicted.
The matter was resolved only when we called our driver who is a local from the area. After that they reluctantly assigned a good room.
I have stayed in many Marriott hotels all over the world. Without any hesitation I can say this was the worst.
Great staff, nice rooms, amazing food!
All
Non
location and amazing staff. Also after sunset a guy comes to play oud. Amazing
the breakfast wasn’t a buffet but it was pretty good, no gym.
Struttura piccola ma accogliente. Vista eccezionale. Cena nel ristorante Halal con vista sul deserto di qualità elevata
Colazione poco varia per essere un hotel 5 stelle della catena Marriott. Assenza di fitness room
Nice location on wadi musa
Kind wellcoming workers
From mr.muayed alnawafleh and all ather staff at reception and restaurants allso at breakfast time.
Allso the sand artist was making beautiful art pieces .
Everything was nice
Courteous staff, clean comfortable room with a good view, shuttle bus laid on for guests direct to Petra, great breakfast, good restaurant options on site. Would easily stay again, we were made to feel very welcome.
Everything was genuinely really good.
The pillows!
It is a very rundown hotel. I had many issues after my initial booking to make a date change. the customer service was highly irresponsible and curt. Finally at the checkin the staff was pretty meh, reluctant to carry bags or help. Very tired rooms, Toilets could DEFINITELY be cleaner.
Rien
C etait infecte.
Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel .
Our stay at the Marriott Petra was truly memorable. The level of hospitality was unreal — it didn’t feel like standard hotel service, but more like being welcomed into someone’s own home and city. Every interaction felt warm, genuine, and thoughtful.
The hotel itself is beautiful, perfectly positioned on a mountaintop with breathtaking views. It has a very cozy, peaceful vibe that makes you instantly relax and enjoy the surroundings.
A special thank you to Mr. Ahmed at the reception, who was exceptional. He was incredibly helpful, understanding, and attentive to all our requests, and supported us throughout our stay with great care and professionalism. His attitude truly elevated the entire experience.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Petra.
The hotel was worthy of the Marriot brand, but since there is construction underway, some facilities were off limits. Some staff members were very curt but some went out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Not in walking distance of the park. Limited shuttle services so you had to work around their times. There are quite alot of hotels right outside the park. Also construction underway at hotel so some facilities were off limits.
