Inconvenienced
Pros:

It’s very clean and spacious, located in a great area.

Cons:

We booked a two-night stay weeks in advance for a trip that combined my birthday celebration and business. While we were out enjoying our planned excursions, the hotel canceled our reservation and told us we had only booked one night. We were also told they needed our room for a Diamond member. They then tried to move us to another room and have us pay for an additional day we hadn’t requested.

Instead of enjoying my birthday, we were on the phone trying to straighten out a reservation that had already been confirmed. We almost had to leave an excursion and return to the hotel, which would have meant losing tickets we had already paid for. With business commitments the following day and our departure approaching, we wouldn’t have had another chance to do those activities.

Thankfully, Booking.com resolved everything over the phone, and we were able to keep our original room without interrupting our plans further.

What made the situation more upsetting was how Vicki handled the call. She was rude and repeatedly spoke over me while I was trying to understand what had happened and get it resolved. We had met her earlier that morning, and she had been pleasant, which I even mentioned to her on the phone. Angela, however, was very helpful and professional, and I appreciate her assistance.

Although the issue was eventually resolved, it added unnecessary stress to a trip we had planned and looked forward to. After this experience, we no longer plan to stay at Hilton hotels.

Great location and great place to stay!
Pros:

We had planned to visit the aquarium and discovery museum and also the bluegrass festival going on. This was the best location - we could walk to everything and lots of restaurants nearby for the kids. They loved the pool at night!

Would caution anyone staying here about the parking situation, especially if there is an event downtown.

Cons:

Parking situation ruined our experience. We went out for the morning and when we returned there were no spaces available to park our car. Paid $18 a day and then had to circle the parking lot like hungry vultures for 1/2 hour and finally stalked a family returning to their vehicle to get a parking spot.

Beautiful Hotel within walking distance of most everything.
Pros:

The location of the property was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The website said it came with free breakfast, but we were informed we had to pay $16 for breakfast

First time to visit Chattanooga. Loved the atmosphere, beautiful city, and hospitality.
Pros:

Walking distance to all locations downtown.

Cons:

Parking for the hotel was actually owned by the city, so they charged a fee every day there. Probably the only negative thing.
