Booked an air-conditioned room during a 40°C heatwave, the AC was broken, staff pressured me to stay and stalled for 2 h
Cons:

The room advertised on Booking.com as air-conditioned had no working air conditioning. During a heatwave in Vienna with temperatures above 40°C, this made the room unbearable. When I reported it, staff tried to show me how to turn the AC on, but the control switches were physically broken off (see photo). No technician was available, and the receptionist came to the room and confirmed himself that it was far too hot and that the AC could not be turned on.
I asked to change rooms and was told none were available. When I requested a refund, since the room did not match what was advertised, the manager initially refused, telling me I either had to stay or leave and lose the €400 I had paid. Although the reception staff were polite, they strongly pressured me to stay and in my impression, deliberately played for time: I was told to go about my plans and come back later so they could “look into what could be done,” which felt like an intentional delaying tactic rather than a real attempt to help. It took over 2 hours of back-and-forth before I finally obtained a refund after which I was left without accommodation in Vienna late in the evening and had to find a new hotel at short notice.
I would also note that the parking offered by the hotel is not private, it is shared with an adjacent shopping centre and is open to the general public.

Tolles Ambiebte. Schöne saubere Zimmer. Sauberes Bad.
Eine offene Bar in der Lobby in der man alles bekommt und gemütlich zum Sitzen einlädt.
Der Frühstücksraum ist echt toll und individuell eingerichtet. Er lädt richtig zu dem tollen Frühstücksbuffet - welches für jeden etwas bietet - ein.

Pros:

Au début de notre séjour, le système de l'air conditionné de notre chambre n'était pas assez efficace pour contrer la chaleur dans la chambre en période de canicule.
Nous avons été déplacé dans une autre chambre - impeccable.
Le service de l'hôtel est également impeccable.
Petit déjeuner exceptionnel avec un tout grand choix.
L'hotel est fort bien placé à proximité des transports en commun.

Öncelikle Hotelin konumu muhteşem. Viyana’nın tüm tarihi noktalarına çok kısa bir mesafe yürüyerek tramvay ve metrolarla ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Lobiden verilen ücretsiz su içtiğim en güzel su olabilir. Havlular her gün değişiyor havalandırması hem lobide hem de odalarda müthiş. Ses yalıtımı daha iyi olursa gerçekten on onluk bir otel diyebiliriz.

Cons:

Sadece ses yalıtımı yetersizdi.

Sehr gutes abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Und sogar der Kaffee war super :) Klimaanlage, juhhuuu. Bei der Hitze eine wahre erleichterung .. junges nettes Team. In wenigen Schritten in der Lugner City, Stadthalle und der U6.

Went above and beyond!
Pros:

Everyone was very kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay

Cons:

Only problem was that our kettle leaked, and I would not recommend this property to anyone with moderate to severe fragrance allergies. They were very kind and ran an ozone cleaner, which really helped. For sensitive folks - the air conditioner still has fragrance in it so could trigger some people’s allergies even after the ozone treatment.

Zentrale Lage. Sehr guter Komfort. Die große Parkgarage nebenan welche 24/7 geöffnet ist. Ist die maximale Einfahrtshöhe nun 2 Meter oder 1,95m. Das wäre wichtig zu klären für alle Gäste mit höheren Fahrzeugen
