Agréable séjour.
Pros:

un peu excentré, mais dans un endroit très calme et avec un grand jardin public dont on peut profiter.

Cons:

Propreté des revetements de sol dans les parties communes laissant à désirer.

Very noisy area
Cons:

The room’s sound insulation is quite poor. Although my room was located further inside, I was still frequently disturbed at night by noise from the street and passing traffic. In addition, noise from other rooms—particularly doors closing—was very loud. This is an area the hotel should look into improving. I would not recommend this property to light sleepers.
Room is kind of small.
During our stay, there were also two days with private events, which resulted in the breakfast restaurant being closed. This caused some inconvenience and limited dining options.

Enjoyed staying at Arena for a few days whilst exploring Amsterdam
Pros:

Staff were very helpful and charming

Cons:

Cups in bedrooms were difficult (and potentially dangerous) to use for hot drinks as they didn’t have handles.
Shower needed a door to prevent flooding whole bathroom.

Amsterdam in het groen
Pros:

Mooi hotel in een oud gebouw, gelegen aan het Oosterpark, met een gezellig terras aan het park.
Hoewel aan de rand gelegen, ben je snel bij de eerste grachten. Ook openbaar vervoer vlakbij, maar daar hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt.
De bedden waren comfortabel, we hadden een zeer ruime, moderne badkamer met bad én douche. Ook de kamer was ruim. Koffie op de kamer maar geen gratis water. Dit was betalend in de minibar. Ruime kast met grote kluis.
Hebben de eerste avond een lekker diner gehad in het restaurant, en ook het ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid.

Cons:

Hoewel het personeel vriendelijk is, leken zij niet met elkaar te communiceren. Bij het diner poogden drie maal drie verschillende obers onze wijnglazen weg te halen, terwijl wij een fles hadden besteld voor bij de maaltijd. Het aperitief zorgde blijkbaar voor verwarring.
De tafels werden slecht gepoetst na het afruimen. Bij het ontbijt lagen er nog kruimels van het brood van bij het diner en de tafel plakte nog wat.
Aan de lobby werd ons bij het inchecken niet verteld dat de kamers niet gepoetst worden, tenzij je het kaartje aan de deur hangt. Dus ook geen propere handdoeken de tweede avond. Wel een verrassing als je pas na je diner in de stad terugkomt en er enkel nog maar bewaking in het hotel aanwezig is. Dus ook geen handdoeken meer te krijgen. Blijkbaar hadden ze ons hiervan moeten inlichten bij het inchecken, zei de dame bij het uitchecken.

Also die Kunst im Zimmer, die Kunst im Zimmer könnte etwas liebevoller ausgesucht sein und hochwertiger

Pros:

Nydeleg frokost. Det var flott beliggenhet ved siden av ein park. Det var godt å ha roen der etter en dag i byen eller andre ting. Var så flott å gå tur i parken der. Vi hadde eit flott rom med trapp opp til senga. Mange fasiliteter. God middag på restauranten. Flott bygg

Cons:

Fikk inntrykk av at rødvinen var vannet ut, den var tynn og smakløs selv om det var et merke eg kjente godt til. Helt ok med glassdør til toalettet når eg reiste med mannen min, men hadde ikkje likt det dersom ikkje.

Außergewöhnliches, Hotel mitten in der Stadt mit großen Erholungswert durch einen angrenzenden Park.
Pros:

Das architektonisch interessante Hotel (ehemals ein kath. Waisenhaus mit Kapelle etc. ) ist voller Gemälde und Kunstgegenständen,.... Man hat immer wieder etwas zum Anschauen und Staunen.
Die Rezeption ist sehr gut, freundlich und hilfsbereit besetzt.
