We had a lovely time at the Foss Lind Hotel and we would definitely stay there again when we return to Iceland!
Pros:

Comfortable beds, clean room, close proximity to a bus and to downtown! Also…sound proof walls!
Arianna at the front desk was so welcoming and kind!! Thanks Arianna!

Cons:

We wish that there would have been an ice machine in the hotel. That’s all!

We only stayed 2 nights and we might return to this hotel for a future trip to Iceland.
Pros:

Location is within walking distance of several great restaurants. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

The room and bathroom is small, but not a big deal since we were out most of the day.

Very unsatisfactory front desk

The location was decent.

Cons:

We arrived and were told they had no reservation for us. After wasting a lot of time and showing them my email confirmation with booking.com they sent us to another Fosshotel a few hundred meters away, saying maybe that was where our reservation was. A simple phone call would have helped, but no. So we took our luggage to the other hotel and were told they had no such reservation. But the second hotel figured out that we in fact did have a reservation at the first hotel, so pull our luggage back to hotel one. Later on, we needed some help to contact the hospital to get some receipts after our wallet was stolen. They were either incompetent or did not want to bother. I don't care. They get a negative score. It was also overpriced.

Will never come back to your hotel
Pros:

Practically nothing

Cons:

Toilet stinking with odor coming from the sewage system.
Very poor, depressing neibourhood.

Rip off price, very poor value for money. I felt like staying in the shelter for homeless people.

Overall, it's a good place to stay, but better with no car.
Pros:

Staff was friendly, hotel was nice with a comfortable lobby and rooms where fresh and efficient.

Cons:

While it says on site parking and also says dependent on availability there are only 14 parking slots. That is 14 slots only! Which is not on site parking and should be CLEARLY STATED.
