Absolutely nothing
First thing, when we arrived, I was told by staff that "the system is down. I can only take cash." And because of that, they did not have my reservation. Okay, things happen out of their control. I was told I could have a room and the price, so I left to go to an atm. Upon returning, we were given a room. With one bed. For three people. So I returned to the office and we were given another room.
The hotel was dreary, very outdated, and stunk. Like musty old smell. Except for the hallways which smelled like Marijuana. The area was extremely run down and downright scary. We locked our door and placed a chair under the handle. I immediately checked the beds for bedbugs. That was the only good thing I can say. They didn't have bedbugs.
Staff told me that there was no breakfast even though it's advertised that way online.
I could not sleep as the beds were dreadfully uncomfortable and I was so worried that my family would be human trafficked during the night.
No one at desk for over an hour at the arranged check-in time. Left and tried to cancel. Got charged anyway.
Room was clean, no bedbugs, which was a worry heading into the reservation. The value of the hotel was good, being less than 100 bucks a night.
I didn't really think of anything that could have been better. I cannot think of any reasons to complain or rate poorly about this hotel.
It's a super 8, I knew what i was getting. Hallways smelled like weed, tweaker digging through the ashtray out front, outdated and generally just a place to sleep. I chose a cheap, shitty hotel and that's what I got. No signs of bedbugs on the mattresses but saw a roach in the bathroom. But a 2 night stay cost me $157 and it was only 10 min from the event I was attending so it was fine.
Plenty but it was a compromise I was willing to make to save money. Nbd.
The staff was friendly
It had bugs
Close to the fairgrounds
Nothing
When we got there, our room door would not open, I called front desk, no answer. I finally get the door open. When we got inside, the first thing we saw was a roach climbing on the wall. I forgave that. The tv only had 5 or 6 channels, 2 of which were sports. In the bathroom, was a roach. By morning, we had seen 5 roaches! I was so disgusted by then. We got out of there as soon as we could.
Nothing about the stay was good. I wanted to leave but my husband wanted to sleep in a bed.
Holes in the ceiling, sticky floors dirty showers, with mold in the grout. Lights beside the bed didn't work
There were cock roaches in the building. Police in the parking lot
Disability bathroom. The staff was awesome.
The breakfast was horrible. The website said the Continental breakfast had pastries and fresh fruit. What you get is cereal, stale bread ,muffins, coffee, orange juice, and apple juice. My family ate it but then we felt sick to our stomach. Very disappointed with the breakfast. The beds were uncomfortable too.
The location
The cleaning, I see some Cockroaches in the restroom.
Nothing!
When I showed up for my reservation, the place was in a horrible location. I had called for 3 hours prior to arrival to ask a couple of questions, but nobody ever answered the phone. When I did show up, the woman at the desk was extremely rude, told me there was a 150 dollar deposit that the police required them to have. I suspect that was a lie, but who knows, but had they answered the phone prior, I would have known about the deposit! I didn't stay. I figured if the police were requiring the property to take a deposit it probably wasn't safe. It looked run down, and had some sketchy looking people in the parking lot too. The woman working didn't even have on a uniform, just a regular t-shirt, and looked pretty scruffy. I would definitely consider another place!
