Pros:

I thought the hotel lacked service expected at a 4.5 star. The room bar included one bottle of water and nothing more. The coffee machine is in a dark cabinet and not accessible. The carpet is dark and hotel overall outdated.

Cons:

The bed was comfortable.

Pros:

Location was excellent, great place to stay if you want to be close to the Magnificent Mile and all the shops.

Cons:

The air conditioning wasn't working properly on our first day/night, and maybe a little better on the second, and our hotel room was very hot at night. This ruined the experience.

exceptional
Pros:

I have always considered the Sofitel brand to be exceptional, known for its high customer service standards and beautifully appointed rooms. However, the Chicago Magnificent Mile location exceeds my expectations each time I
come here.I had a later than expected arrival, but the team ensured my check-in was incredibly smooth and comfortable. I want to express my sincere gratitude and recognition for the staff who went above and beyond to welcome me. Vince and Thomas, in particular, provided outstanding service that turned what could have been a stressful arrival into a wonderful experience. This property truly represents the very best of Sofitel hospitality. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
