Perfect location!
Pool area was a little tired.
This hotel is perfectly located in miami beach area. All the staff were super helpful and friendly, soecial shout out to Alex the barmaid/waitress...she made our stay even better ❤️. The rooms were clean spacious and airy and breakfast was delicious. The roof top pool and bar were also a lovely added bonus with great views of south beach one way and downtown miami the other way. I would definate return to this hotel if visiting miami again.

This property has retained a lot of original features and is in a great location. It also has amazing air con which makes a big difference in a very humid Miami. We were able to get our room deliciously cold! The roof top has a nice pool and bar area.
The room is a little basic, I would have liked a coffee machine in the room. I am unable to drink alcohol currently and struggled to get any non alcoholic options, ideally a NA beer but there was none - unusual. You need to ask for the prosecco on check in, I wasn’t drinking so didn’t nurse one but doesn’t feel like you get the warmest welcome.
Over all the Hotel and staff were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was outstanding right in the of the action in South Beach.
The only issue I had was the the TV did not work in the room although they did send a tech to look at the problem he did resolve the issue but after 2 hrs of play the TV froze and stopped working again.

Nice experience overall, though a bit overrated and overpriced in my opinion. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the rooftop area is also very pretty.
That said, there were a few inconveniences during my stay. The hotel is split between two separate buildings connected by a rooftop passage, which can be a bit confusing and not very convenient, especially since that passage closes at 7:30 PM.
The elevators in both buildings were also not functioning well, with no clear indicators, lighting, or sounds, which made it difficult to know if they were working at all. At one point, I had to access my room through an older restaurant area, and there was no staff available to clarify the elevator situation.
Because the rooftop passage closes early (along with the pool), I ended up in the wrong building later in the evening and couldn’t easily get back, which was frustrating. I was also disappointed not to be able to enjoy the rooftop later with a drink, as I didn’t expect such early closing hours for a Miami Beach hotel.
Additionally, food and drinks felt quite expensive (for example, $8 for a single taco). There were also minor maintenance issues, like some water accumulation around the pool due to a clogged drain.
Overall, still a nice stay, but it didn’t fully meet the expectations set by the price, location and Hyatt standards.
