Poolside is great.
Pros:

Derik was fabulous and kept the poolside entertaining for my kids. His games and activities make a difference for us to stay poolside and drink cocktails. We felt taken care of and worth the money.

great South Beach option
Pros:

Used my Hyatt free night to book a room prior to heading out for a cruise. I knew it was an older building, and actually expected it to show it's age, but it was absolutely beautiful. The rooftop pool was nice, staff was amazing, and it was a great location in South Beach.

Holliday tour.
Pros:

Ok hotel. Clean. Good location near Miami beach. The rooftop pool was nice. Eacy check in. Give you chance too book tours. Overall ok.

Great area, terrible hotel
Pros:

We spent 2 of our 3 nights without AC. Place did not function well. It was not very clean. Very noisy too. Would not recommend, will not stay at this hotel again since we go the this area annually and love the area, just not his place. Stay away

Nice hotel
Pros:

Great location 2 mins walk to the beach , reception staff really polite and helpful, bar and restaurant not so much, nice roof bar with pool needs a bit of TLC. Though, free coffee till 10 am every day and ice water all day really good - overall real pleasant stay

There is no correlation at all between the photos in the site to the reality. Moreover, "by Hyatt" is misleading. The place look like a poor old hostel at the best. Receptionist behave like he was punished to be present there. 0 empathy to our comments about the hotel. He didn't care

We asked to use the public toilets, but they were locked. A maid opened us the door and asked us not to tell the Receptionist.... hotel is rundown and dirty.

We did not stay in the hotel due to the poor condition of the hotel despite the fact that we paid for 3 rooms. I am asking for a refund. We had to make a reservation in another hotel nearby (hotel Palm) which was great.

Great Boutique Hyatt Hotel in South Beach
Pros:

Great location in South Beach near Lincoln Ave, Espanola Way; the beach and in the middle of "Art Deco". Clean comfortable rooms on the smaller size but with all modern amenities and no carpet. Great Globalist recognition and benefits; suite upgrade, parking and breakfast!!! Rooftop pool and bar; good Mexican restaurant onsite. Very nice and efficient front desk. Melody at the front desk was very helpful and very "Hyatt" service oriented, she made sure our stay and room was excellent! Interesting Architectural details throughout the property and front desk decor from a different era. Fun outdoor chairs to sit and watch the people and cars go by. Overall great clean hotel in the Art Deco area with all of the Hyatt benefits. We are very happy that Dream is a part of Hyatt brand as we never would have experienced this gem of a hotel in a fun part of South beach had it not been a Hyatt. We really appreciated Melody's customer service as she makes this Boutique hotel shine!

Great Location & Wonderful Service
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay in South Beach! The location was perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore.

Leo from the staff was especially kind and helpful throughout our stay. He gave us great recommendations for places to visit and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. His friendly attitude really made a difference.

Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful stay!
Pros:

The hotel is actually 2 buildings, The Palmer and The Tudor, that can't be renamed due to regulation. They are built in the late 30s in the art deco style of So. beach. It is close to a lot of restaurants, beach, clubs and the free South Beach Trolley. The room was renovated and very clean, 2bottles of H2O are provided along with daily maid service. Cofee, tea and H2O, with orange slices can be had in the lobby of The Palmer side. The roof top pool on The Tudor side affords a nice view of Versace mansion on Ocean Ave. The beach can also be seen on the rooftop pool.
Wonderful hotel to stay in. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
