The animation activities held by Derek were awesome. that’s why he deserved five stars
The rooftop is a beautiful experience with kind workers and a gorgeous view! A lovely day!!! Chloe is soooo sweet as a bartender!
Derik was very kind and personable as he led blackjack in the pool. Truly a "Dream" of a day!
Derik has an engaging manner. Kids and adults enjoyed side by side.
Derik was great! We enjoyed the pool blackjack and the salsa dancing! Will come back to see him!
Short vacation for 4 days. Wonderful place. Great staff. Room was comfortable. Walk in shower. Very nice roof top pool and bar. It is associated with The Naked Taco restaurant beside the hotel. One block to Miami Beach. The hotel will give you beach chairs and towels to bring there. Leo, at check in was very helpful. And Juan, the concierge was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
We loved the location of the hotel in proximity to Ocean Blvd, and the beach.
The location of the Miami Beach Hyatt Dream hotel is excellent. As always the staff was superb and highly professional. The room was decorated in the Art Deco style of Miami Beach and was beautiful! We had a wonderful stay!
Derik was amazing and was an awesome host
Derik is a welcoming and inviting man, playing blackjack(no money involved) was actually fun and I actually was able to laugh with everyone around. Thank you for a great time at the Dream Hotel, hope to do it again soon.
A fab hotel in an amazing location with a great roof top pool with views of South Beach. Nice room with everything you need and a fab magnified mirror. Friendly, helpful staff - would definitely stay again and would absolutely recommend.
A lot of lovely-looking boutique hotels seem to feel like the lights are on but nobody’s home.
The Dream hotel was a pleasure to stay at bc they fulfilled every request I asked of them and made it easy to get my car in and out of the valet, even when I wasn’t leaving the hotel and just needed something I left in my backseat.
I was expecting it to be difficult to get much attention during spring break (which is unfortunately going on at the moment) but there’s always someone at the desk ready to help. Oh and don’t forget to use the complimentary Crunch gym fitness voucher
I had an amazing stay at Dream South Beach. The location is perfect as it's about a 1 min walk from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and everything you’d want to be near in South Beach.
The hotel itself is amazing as well and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. Everyone I talked with was warm and welcoming Rebecca is a great manager. Highly recommend.
I recently hosted a team meeting at Dream Hotel with a group of 12, and it worked out really well for what we needed. The meeting space was a great fit—large enough to be comfortable, but still felt focused and not overly formal. Everything was set up when we arrived, and we didn’t have to spend time troubleshooting tech or rearranging the room, which made a big difference.
The location was another big plus. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, so it was easy to plan lunches and dinners without overthinking it. We were able to mix in quick meals and a couple of nicer sit-down spots, all within walking distance, which helped keep things simple for everyone.
Overall, the stay was smooth from start to finish. The staff was helpful and easy to work with, and everything felt well run without being stuffy. For a smaller corporate group, it checked all the boxes—good space, convenient location, and no unnecessary hassle.
I’d definitely consider coming back for a similar meeting in the future.
Disappointed in Naked Taco. Quoted one price but final invoice reflected double price and no resolution when brought to server’s attention.
Fun hanging at the pool with Derik!
The hotel is very close to the beach and Lummus Park. The rooms can be tight and walls are thin. So if you are able to try for a larger room/suite you should book that, as they are quieter. Also we had a speaker and played sleep music at night which helped. That said it is South Beach, Miami not a secluded forest! The building itself is older, like many other hotels on the strip. That said the rooms are nice overall and the property is well maintained. The breakfast at Naked Taco is nice and there is good variety. We also had dinner there and liked it. The hotel is 2 buildings. The Tudor building is accessed by walking through the restaurant. Its not a huge problem but if that is something that would be an issue for you, book a room in the main hotel building. They have a coffee station in the mornings and water stations the rest of the day which was really handy. Rooms have a fridge in. Bathrooms are updated but they are a more modern concept with partial or glass doors. Beds were comfy. I've stayed here the last 2 years for an annual event on the beach and in terms of location, value for South Beach and comfort, I am happy with it and would stay again.
Very nice hotel, I went there with my wife and friends, the spot was just fine for the event I went; the pool, beverage and drinks were fine; staff was pretty kind and very helpful with information about the city and spots.
Dancing Salsa with Derik was the best. Walking into the lobby with a pina colada and a dance master teaching you was so much fun.
Dancing with Derek was so much fun. It was the highlight of our day. He was joyful and just sucks source of light. Thank you Derek!
