The art, the vibe, the beds are really comfortable
Needs a hot tub
Love vibe. Always clean, always friendly staff, great location.
Our mini-fridge got a bit too freezy! lol
Super cute and awesome staff! I loved the facilities and if I had additional time I would have loved to spend time at the pool + bar to enjoy the art.
Wall air conditioner that was just not strong enough for the az heat. It's a brick building so I get there's limitations for where it's installed but it was too far from my bed to feel it comfortably for sleep.
The room was attractive and having the desk to set up my mirror to do makeup in the morning was very helpful, plus having the pendent light above gave needed light.
Parking was conveniently right at the front door.
I didn't use any amenities and even forgot to use my free drink pass. The room was satisfactory, but two things stood out. Firstly, in all my years of traveling and staying in hotels/motels, this is the very first that did not have a Kleenex dispenser. Thank God I had an extra box in my car, or I would have been in big trouble. I inherited my dad's tendency to blow his nose a lot. Kleenex are a number one necessity when traveling. Secondly, my back suffered greatly by the morning as I had to sleep on a foam rubber mattress. It is horrible for people with already bad backs. Had I known, I wouldn't have booked a room at Hotel McCoy.
Love all the art and murals and the staff were so great!
They offer you a complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. They have a pinball machine game room & a workout room, as well as a game courtyard. This place is really fun!
Not a thing I didn't like about this place.
The space is fun and the rooms are clean, comfortable and unique.
Nothing
Convenient parking beside the room. Healthy breakfast. Good price.
Staff was lost. They gave me the wrong room, wrong access code. A/C was loud. Room could have been cleaner.
The beds were comfortable. Not all rooms are equally good, which the staff confirmed. We asked to move from our first room as it smelled like cigarettes by the front door, and the AC unit was very loud, but the second room was better. The location was easy access to the highway and it was a fine place to stay the night in between two long drives. The decor in our first room was not great but the second room had a beautiful mural and the whole room looked nicer. The TV was big and had Netflix, which was nice.
The staff wasn't rude, but also wasn't friendly. The girl who checked us in didn't explain the facilities or amenities offered at the hotel (breakfast, that there's a pool, where to fill water bottles, etc.). When I did have to ask other staff about these things, it felt like I was interrupting them from their phones. Our first room had a dirty tin on the side table which made the room feel dirty. The second room was better. Breakfast wasn't great. I love oatmeal, but the oatmeal itself didn't taste good and having all the toppings didn't really make it any better. We did enjoy watching Looney Tunes on the TV in the dining area, and the paintings were cool. The location was convenient to the highway, but the surroundings felt a bit creepy, which wasn't helped by the staff being unfriendly. Maybe we were there on an off day.
