Awesome, kana was so nice and great
Waikīkī monarch hotel .
I was not welcomed by the front desk staff upon arrival. When I attempted to ask questions, the manager intervened, and her first response to me was, “Girl, this is the cheapest you’ll find—this is Waikīkī.”
I informed her that the room was filthy, the shower setup was poorly designed, and the overall condition was unacceptable. I asked repeatedly to see another room. They showed me a second room, which had the same issues. The furniture was torn and outdated, clearly from the 1970s, and there were roaches. Yes, roaches. I felt physically sick and extremely uncomfortable, to the point that I could not mentally prepare myself to stay.
The staff was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful throughout the entire interaction. The manager, Vanessa, was the primary source of this behavior. Based on her conduct, she was an absolute nightmare to deal with—what I can only describe as a literal devil in terms of customer service.
I checked out after only two hours and moved to another hotel that was significantly cleaner and provided actual customer service.
To make matters worse, the manager left before speaking with Expedia, despite Expedia needing to verify details directly with the property. As of now, the hotel has still not returned Expedia’s calls. I checked out the same day, within two hours of arrival.
In a place like Hawaii, where nearly everyone I encountered was kind and welcoming, this experience stood out in the worst way possible. Extremely rude is an understatement.
I am writing this to warn others not to book here. I am also requesting that the executive leadership or owner contact me directly to address both the unsanitary conditions and the unacceptable customer service.
Easy check-in, straightforward access. All documents were already prepared, including the room key card. The room location requested during online booking was taken into account and implemented perfectly. The pool area is very large and spacious and also offers space for a barbecue.
Housekeeping needs to be ordered at the front desk; simply placing the "Please make up the room" sign on the door will not be sufficient. Unfortunately, we were not informed of this at check-in.
Bad management, needs repairs. Noisy rooms
Very nice staff
Hotel looked nothing like what I expected. Was a bit more run down and had more of a hostel look. Room not clean and was very disappointing so we left and stayed somewhere else
ロードサイドで比較的動きやすい。ロケーションはよかった。

Checking out!!!
Got charged a 2nd resort fee when I checked in at Lobby desk. The “resort” was far from a resort, more like a motel 8 you’re gonna catch a penicillin shot from. Cigarette burns in furniture, floor had a film that was slippery and left shoe marks, no blanket on bed just a foot runner.
Great service at front, room definitely dated but clean and fine. Good location. Has everything we needed for one night stay.
The staff have been courteous and exemplifies the Aloha Spirit. Nykki was exceptionally courteous and so has Donnalyn and their boss. Its very conveniently located in Waikiki. Thank you for your hospitality and graciousness!

Very positive experience at this hotel especially due to very helpful and accommodating staff. I arrived early at 8am a full 7 hours before check in after 2 flights from Australia. Vanessa and Nicky on reception very kindly found me a room so I could freshen up and get some rest.
The hotel is well located and close to shops, the beach and restaurants. I ate at Waikiki Brewing Company which was very good and over the road from the hotel.
The room was very clean albeit a little tired and dated but as a single night stopover this served my purpose just fine.
